His love of dentistry started while serving in the USAF; it was only natural that he pursued a degree in dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas Austin, and went on to the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School San Antonio.
After graduating from Dental School in 1989, Dr. Marquis joined the USAF Dental Corp and rose to the rank of Major. In 2000, Dr. Marquis completed an intensive two year advanced dental residency in order to provide expanded dental treatments such as sedation (nasal, oral and IV) and cosmetic dentistry.
In 2005, Dr. Marquis acquired his own dental practice in Katy Texas. Through the years Dr. Marquis has built his practice into an ultra high tech, state of the art office where he can offer his patients the best possible dental care in a very relaxing atmosphere.

Melissa Cardenas is a registered dental hygienist practicing since 2002. She graduated with academic excellence from William Rainey Harper College with a degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. She obtained her certification in the administration of Nitrous Oxide and Local Anesthesia from the University of Illinois Chicago, and recently obtained a certification in Theory and Practical Application of the Diode Laser for Hygiene.
Cindy Carey has worked in dentistry for over 34 years, starting out as an assistant in 1974, and later migrating to the business end of the dental field. She is originally from New Jersey and came to Texas in 1989. She is married with four grown children and when she is not spending time with her family, likes to swim, bike, play tennis, go to the beach, or keep busy with crafts at home. She still maintains her dental assistant license, and keeps current on the ever-changing rules and regulations of dentistry and dental insurance systems by regularly attending continuing education courses on those subjects.
Cesilia Torres has been working in the dental field as an RDA for about 4 years. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable. Cesilia loves working as a team member so communication is the key. She is also fluent in Spanish, which enables her to be particularly helpful to our Spanish speaking patients. She is patient and understanding, especially with our many patients who are afraid and hesitant in having their necessary dental treatment.
Angela Carvajal has been an RDA since 2010. She graduated from the College of Health Care Professions in Houston, Texas. In 2014, she obtained her certification in Coronal Polishing and Sealants. She loves to work and spend time with patients, helping them with any concerns, and being a part of their happy experience in the dental office.
