Dr. George Marquis graduated Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1980. He is a native of Madawaska, Maine and did his undergraduate study at the University of Maine at Orono. Dr. George and his wife, Dr. Doris Marquis, DMD, opened Marquis Dental Center in 1980 in Tremont, Mississippi. They later moved the practice to Fulton, Mississippi.
Dr. George Marquis completed the requirements to become a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine in the summer of 2019. This certification is considered the gold standard in dental sleep medicine and demonstrates Dr. Georges technical skill, in-depth knowledge and professional judgment in the practice of dental sleep treatment.
He is a past president of the Southern Academy of Oral Surgery and is certified in Laser Dentistry. He is an active promoter of the arts in Itawamba County. Dr. George is on the Tupelo Symphony board of directors and the president of the Itawamba Symphony Society. Dr. George enjoys landscaping in his spare time and is also a devoted follower and supporter of high school sports.
Helen joined MDC in 2003. She started as a dental assistant and is now the Office Manager. She enjoys working with our excellent doctors and staff. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and her precious grandchildren.
Tonya joined MDC in 2014. She is theFinancial Coordinator/Hygiene Coordinator/Marketing. She is happily married and has two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Tina joined Renew Dental in 2021 as our Insurance Coordinator. She brings 23 years of dental experience and customer service to our practice. She has been married for 28 years and has two grown children. Tina enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and riding their UTV.

Refuse to let parents in with children unless proof of "vaccination" is shown. Fixed one of my kids chipped teeth and was told if it didn't stay they would fix it. I asked about it and was brushed off.

I had a great experience at Marquis Dental! Dr. Doris is wonderful!!! I always get nervous when I go to the dentist and her caring and gentle attitude surley helped me feel mor comfortable!!! All the staff was beyond kind to me and made me feel so welcome!!!! Thank you all!!! I definitely recommend this office !!!!!

I was never a big fan of the dentist office growing up.. but I have loved having Dr.Doris see me grow to the woman I am today. (Not kicking and screaming) when I come now. She always takes great care of me!

Got to love doctor doors and you always enjoy dr. George. Beyond that staff is stellar and beyond. I felt like I was the most important patient they had that day and 4 days beyond. This is a testament to dedication and doing things in the old fashioned way with the most modern technology!
