'Dr. Marn', as she is called by many patients, is a native Oregonian, raised in Portland. She became interested in dentistry at a very early age. Her father Dr. Alfred Kasmeyer, a well respected dentist in Portland for generations, was her inspiration. She began working summers as her father 's sole assistant when she was just a young teenager. She continued in this role, learning all aspects of dentistry through high school, college and dental school. After earning her B.S. in psychology from Lewis & Clark and her DMD degree from OHSU in 1987, she fulfilled her life long dream and joined the practice with her father until he retired some 15 years later. Needless to say, she has enjoyed the generations of families that she has had the privilege to treat and welcomes the new generations to come.
