Dr. Shanteau is an active member of the Indiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Doctors Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a Founding Member of the American Association for Functional Orthodontics.

I am VERY unsatisfied with this clinic! I went to my initial appointment where we came up with a dental plan to crown a broken tooth, root canal, and 4 cavities! After making the initial plan to cap both teeth with porcelain caps, I asked if it would be cheeper to do gold. It was MUCH cheeper because my insurance covered more! This was done in 3 visits; on my second visit they said there was a problem with my billing and it would be fixed by my 3rd visit, but I'd have to pay out of pocket $40 some. They somehow lost my paper work for gold caps proceeding to chard me for the porcelain. Come my 3rd visit, nothing was changed and they credited me for more than what was done. They, then, told me I'd still have to pay even know I very much so have gold caps on my teeth and if things change they would refund me by keep it as a credit on my account. Thus, I have to pay for the whole credit! Overall, I feel scammed. I want my money for the mishap and I really don't understand how they can loose important documentation like that! Julie if you see this I'm waiting on my phone call for this to be fixed!

I had the best experience the whole entire staff was fantastic explained to me what was going on with my teeth and gums and came with a plan to fix them and where very kind and from the minute I walked in the door till I left everyone I came in contact with was extremely nice. I highly recommend this place !!! It took awhile to get in the first time but it was worth the wait.

I am very pleased with my dental hygenist who dis my cleaning and with the dentist. Everyone is very friendly and polite. Would recommend anyone who is looking for a dentist to consider Markland Dental as their new dentist.

My son had his first cavity and he was so nervous to have it fixed. I loved that they could tell her scared and nervous and explained what was happening while they worked on him to put him at ease. My son is already excited for his next trip to the dentist.

Be prepared to make alternate arrangements, they will cancel your appointment as late as an hour before the scheduled time. This place is completely unprofessional, I do not recommend this facility or the staff
