Market Street Dental, P.C. is a female-owned dental practice in East York, PA run by Dr. Jacqueline A. Marcin, DMD, for over 23 years. Dr. Marcin recieved a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, or DMD, Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious Temple University Dental School in 1987. She completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force out of Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Virginia in 1988. In 1982, Dr. Marcin received her undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude in Dental Hygiene at Thomas Jefferson University, as well as a Certificate in Dental Hygiene from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980, both located in Philadelphia.
Dr. Jacqueline Marcin was born in Tamaqua, PA, and graduated from Marian Catholic High School as valedictorian in 1978. She has practiced general dentistry as a sole proprietor in and around East York, PA since 1994. Recently, she incorporated her dental practice as Market Street Dental, PC. She is a proud member of a number of organizations, including the Pennsylvania Dental Society, the York County Dental Society, the American Association of University Women, the American Dental Association and the Catholic Women's Club of York. Dr. Marcin is on staff at Wellspan York Hospital and also serves on the Occupational Advisory Committee for York County School of Technology. In order to keep current with the latest techniques and information in the field of dentistry, Dr. Marcin is very active in continuing education programs for dentistry.
Dr. Marcin has been recognized with numerous honors and awards for her work as a family dentist. She has been nominated by her peers as the Top Dentist within South Central Pennsylvania many consecutive years.

Dr Marcin is the greatest My friend came down with an abscess on a Friday evening and after calling every emergency care dentist on the web none of them returned my call. Dr Marcin was the only one to return my call and prescribed antibiotics Was told to bring her in 8: 30 Monday and she took care of her. thank you again Dr Marcin Bill Strouse

I've gone through quite a few Dentist in York since my childhood dentist retired. After plenty of bad and expensive experiences I found Dr. Marcin. She's by far the best in the area. Friendly and caring towards patients. I've only been a patient for a couple years but from day one I felt like I had always gone here. As long as she's in business I'll be a patient.

Dr. Jackie is awesome. She is so personable and kind. I was referred to her after numerous weeks of waiting for a chain denist to set up my corrective plan, which never was set up. She spoke to me the next day I was in her office. She set up how we were going to attack my corrective plan to fix my teeth. I highly recommend this practice.

I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Marcin while serving in the Air Force and I must say it was a rewarding experience. Not only was Dr. Marcin fun to work with but she was very professional and caring. I looked forward to working with her every day she's a real people person. It was a sad day when we had to part ways. I would highly recommend Dr. Marcin to perform dental procedures on any of my friends or family she's that good. I give her 5 stars in every aspect of dentistry and as a person in general!

My Dental Insurance changed 2 years ago. So I found this dentistry due to it being close to where I live. I really enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Marcin is a delight. She is friendly, will work with you with any issue that you have and takes the anxiety of going to the dentist.

I have been a patient for 18 years and I've had plenty of work done by Dr. Marcin and have always been pleased and very happy with the outcome. The first dental office that I feel comfortable and with no worries going into an appointment!

Dr. J is an awesome dentist! Fixed a broken tooth and it's like a brand new tooth! Staff is very friendly and Dr. J is very knowledgeable! Can't go wrong here!!!! I am a Veteran and this is a Veteran friendly Dentist!! Stop in or give a call!!!

We love Market Street Dental! Our son hates the dentist and getting any work done. But Dr Marcin and all the dental hygienists work with him and help him feel comfortable! Every time we have an emergency or problem they quickly get him in to be seen! They work with us financially which is a huge blessing. Everytime we call they already know who our son is and are so welcoming! We wouldn't take him anywhere else!

Let me just start off with saying how AMAZING this office is! I am so pleased to have found this practice! As a new patient, I was experiencing a tooth ache. Dr. Marcin's office quickly fit me into their schedule, and I was seen within 24 hours, as a new patient! When I arrived at the office, all of the staff and the front desk was so attentive and very welcoming. My hygienist, Genie, was so knowledgeable in her field and was able to quickly identify the probable cause of my tooth ache. Genie provided me a lot of insight during my visit and her education skills are on point! Dr. Marcin then completed my exam, and she provided me a wide array of insight as well, and was so caring while explaining the causes of my tooth pain, and really took her time to explain and provide education to me in terms I understood. Her bed side manner, is phenomenal! I am so SO blessed to have had the opportunity to be a patient at this office. Their patient care is off the charts! Thank you to the amazing Dr. Marcin, and her WONDERFUL staff!

I got a great, thorough cleaning, and I felt that I was listened to and respected. At other practices, I've been berated for things like having plaque buildup and declining the fluoride treatment, but not here. Professionalism and friendliness are the top strengths of this practice, in my opinion.

The environment is very welcoming and kind! I was treated like the adult I actually am and not an immature kid just because I'm in college. Was one of the first times I wasn't overly anxious during a dental cleaning too which was wonderful! Thank you! The staff was forthcoming in explaining to me what they were doing or why certain things (like a sensitive tooth) may be occurring which is something I've never experienced before yet was greatly appreciated. Thank you!
