He maintained a private practice in Chicago until relocating to the Myrtle Beach, SC community in 1991.

He then attained certification in the administration of intravenous conscious sedation from the University of Pittsburgh School of DentalMedicine. Dr. Christopher J. Latvis comes to us with a tremendous amount of experience. He graduated in the top 5% of his class from the University of Maryland in 1996. Additionally, he has obtained a three-year specialty degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Connecticut. As a prosthodontic specialist, he hasadvanced training in all aspects of dentistry; particularly aesthetic dentistry, removable and fixed complex cases as well as prosthetic and implant surgical dentistry.
Most of his professional career centered around a vibrant patient-centered practice in Connecticut. Dr. Latvis andhis wife (Diane) of 28years, have an adult daughter (Jaclyn) who is in graduate school and a Havanese puppy named Duke. Besides dentistry, Dr. Latvis enjoys time with family, home projects and fishing. Dr. Latvis is passionate about providing compassionate and comprehensivepatient care.
'Ive never had a bad experience here. As soon as you walk through the door they welcome you by name. They are very patient and kind. I am very nervous when I go to the dentist, but as soon as you get in the chair the nurses make you feel very comfortable and Dr. Mills will make you laugh. Dr. Mills has a great personality.
