Tinker: He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University where he studied composite materials, computer aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM), mechatronics, and fluid mechanics.
Dentist: From BYU, Dr. Maher returned to his native California to pursue his DDS degree from the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He is a certified Cerec (same day crowns) and Invisalign (invisible orthodontia) provider.
Soldier: Having completed his formal dentistry training, Dr. Maher began his Dentistry Residency with the U.S. Army at Ft. Benning, Georgia, where he was awarded a one-on-one mentorship with distinguished specialists in oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general restorative dentistry. While at Ft. Benning, Dr. Maher was certified in Airborne School where he learned to jump out of airplanes before he and his family were transferred to Hawaii.
Dr. Maher shipped out of Schofield Barracks in Hawaii to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as Brigade Dental Surgeon from August 2006-2007. In Iraq, Dr. Maher was the sole provider of comprehensive dental care for over 5,000 U.S. coalition service personnel and civilians.
Through a combination of state-of-the-art technology, sensible treatment plans, and genuine devotion to the unique needs of each patient, Dr. Maher preserves healthy teeth and gums, alleviates oral discomfort, and improves the appearance of smiles on a daily basis. He has applied his unique blend of artistic and technical skills to produce durable and aesthetic results in hundreds of happy patients. I strongly do not recommend Mark Maher. This dentist's bedside manners leave a whole lot to be desired. It is not going to happen again: I cancelled future visits to this office for myself and for the rest of my family.

Dr. Maher is dentistry as it should be done. He listens, he offers options, and works efficiently. I just went in for a crown. The process of getting a crown usually takes two visits, one to prep the tooth and take impressions in order to make a mold of the replacement, and then another visit to fit the replacement and make sure the fit was right. Dr.Maher, in addition to all the above accolades, also uses the most state of the art equipment. What would normally be a three week process to install a crown he did in two hours. The crown he installed is absolutely perfect. Far better than the other one that I had done using the traditional methods some years ago. If I could give him ten stars out of five, it still wouldn't be enough.

Dr. Maher and his staff a by far the best i have ever been to. They made me feel very comfortable. I recommend him to anyone that needs a great dentist. I can't say enough about this place.

What a great, friendly dental office. Dr. Maher does great work and is really honest, never suggests work I don't really need. Went in today with a badly broken tooth and walked out with a quality crown about 2 hours later. Wow. If you are looking for a skilled and honest dentist, this is your guy!

Great place! Dr Maher is easy to talk to and pays attention to his customers. I always enjoy are brief "catch-up" times after my teeth cleanings. Mindy the Hygienist I ask for, is also amazing. Fun, easy to talk to and great at keeping my teeth clean. Being a small business owner, my daily schedule changes almost as soon as I wake up each day. So getting me in for my regular cleanings can be a lot of work (for them!), but they always accommodate my crazy schedule. I highly recommend Dr Maher and his staff!

Dr. Maher listens to his customers and presents balanced treatment options. He does not push treatment unless it's imminently necessary. He will see you promptly for dental emergencies (I first encountered Dr. Maher for a broken crown, which he fixed the same day without an appointment). Dr. Maher' entire office team is polite, customer friendly, and welcoming. You won't make a mistake choosing this team for dental care!

This was the best dental experience my family has ever had! Yesterday my three children (ages 7, 6, 4) and I were able to get our teeth cleaned at the same time. The entire staff was patient, kind, knowledgeable and friendly. We returned this morning for my two oldest to have a couple cavities filled (which I knew we needed to get done). My kids were very nervous and anxious because of their previous cavities and dental experience at another office. Dr. Maher and his staff helped them relax and feel comfortable. My kids watched a show on multimedia glasses and were able to listen to their favorite music laying in the dental chair. Dr. Maher explained each step to us along the way and even showed my kids what he was doing. He worked on both kids at the same time so we were only there for an hour and half. Not only did we have no tears during the visit, we came home and everyone is already playing outside and going about their normal day. I'm so happy that we found this office for my family. Thank you Dr. Maher and team for being so wonderful!
