Dr. Bydalek was raised in a military and artistic family and grew up travelling. Declining a scholarship to pursue an art degree in his senior year in high school, Dr. Bydalek decided to combine his artistic talent from his moms Dutch side of the family, and follow in his dads footsteps, a retired Air Force dentist, to pursue the field of dentistry where he felt he could use his skills to make the greatest impact.
Dr. Bydalek obtained his undergrad at Temple University and then decided to remain at Temple for his doctorate at the Kornberg School of Dentistry. His passion in dentistry is cosmetic design because creating a new smile, or making a tooth that actually looks and functions like a tooth, takes time, talent and care to get it right. Staying on top of the latest advancements in dental care theory, technique and technology remains priority in his office and that is why he continues to invest in it. RiverValleyDental was the first practice in Hunterdon currently to offer Solea drill-less laser dentistry; in addition, the office has CEREC digital crown and implant dentistry, 3D Scan technology, Diagnodent laser cavity detection, and more.
Somewhere in throws of raising a family and beginning to really understand and value the necessity of proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle including enough sleep and exercise, Dr. Bydalek has decided to take on the current recommendation by the American Dental Association community to have a conversation with his patients with regard to their overall health and take ownership in playing a role in their overall care.
I cant tell you the number of patients through the years Ive recommended to see their medical physicians for a high blood pressure condition or an oral cancer concern that has resulted in saving a life, even helping to manage inflammation to maintain healthy gum tissue to support dental implant success. Overall wellness questions, that are normal in my teams routine exams, are critical.

Front desk staff delightful.. friendly, helpful and patient with questions and concerns. Dr. Tang was outstanding... never felt rushed, explained everything beautifully and answered all my questions. The most comprehensive exam I have ever had! Equipment is state of the art and a dental plan made with consideration for my timeline and finances.

Busted my tooth a couple of days ago. These amazing folks got me right into an appointment the next day. I met Dr Tang, who is my new all time favorite dentist. He was super nice and explained everything before he was doing the work, including the sensations I might feel. He was efficient and gentle. I was actually relaxed during my 2 hr visit. Thank you Dr Tang, kind dental hygienist and support team who made my experience great.

MARK BYDALEK is the best! Moved 3 times since we first came to him in Sergeantsville. Actually I first met him in Stockton and brought my husband to him. Now we are in Somerset Co and we still drive back to Hunterdon. I was "dentist phobic" before Mark because I had some nightmare experiences with other dentists since childhood. Mark is kind, gentle and caring, explaining what he is doing. Also a very skilled dentist. Thank you. Carol & Cal

I have found my new Dental home! My dentist of many years retired, and I was looking for a new dentist, my friend recommended this practice and I am so happy she did. From the warm friendly greeting to the cleanliness of the office, it was such a pleasant experience. I feel my smile is in the best hands with Dr. Tang and Joan their hygienist!!!
