Do you enjoy waiting in traffic, mowing the lawn, cleaning the house? How about going to the dentist? Maybe these are not your favorite activities, and I understand this quite well.As a youth, our family dentist always made me feel comfortable and put me at ease.When I went into dentistry, I had a goal to become not only the best technical dentist, but to also be a dentist who would make my patients feel the same, comfortable, relaxed and at ease.

My name is Mark Vanicek.Patient care, comfort and providing you with excellent results will always be my top priorities. I grew up in small town Nebraska, born in Schuyler, spent my educational years in Lexington and then earned my undergraduate degree at UNL and received my DDS from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry in 1984.

My wife Nancy and I have 3 children and we are enjoying our three grandchildren. I enjoy anything that allows me to be outside (except when the Nebraska wind blows!) including golf and hunting, can just about fix anything with enough trips to the hardware store and spending time with friends and family.
