Dr. Nava Mootabar, a general dentist, attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry, where she received her DDS in 2001. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Postdoctoral Residency Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital /Columbia University of Dental Surgery in 2003. After completing her residency she practiced general dentistry in Manhattan until she moved to Westchester.
Dr. Mootabar has been practicing family general dentistry in the Dutchess/Putnam/Northern Westchester area for the past 12 years. She is an active member in the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and Ninth District Dental Association. She regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current with new techniques, materials and technology. She is passionate about delivering quality care in all aspects of dentistry with her known gentle touch to all of her adult and pediatric patients.
When Dr. Mootabar is not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her kids. She currently resides in Greenwich, CT with her husband, Dr. Navid Mootabar, whose an OB-GYN in Northern Westchester, and her four children.

It's always nice and clean and staff friendly. I had a small issue with being charged 70.00 for a 3 or 4 minute visit by dentist that was called an check up. Im cash pay person so although I didn't ask for the visit, I paid for it. I'll know better next time

I have extreme dental anxiety and was seriously overdue for dental work. The entire staff made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. They didn't make me feel judged for not having been to the dentist in awhile and reassured me everything was going to be fine. Just had my work done this morning and it was great. The dentist (Dr. Adams) was nice, gentle, and explained everything as he was going and made sure I was doing ok throughout the entire process. It's the best experience I've had at any dentist by far and I would highly recommend to anyone!

On September 21, 2022, I tripped and fell flat on my face, bending my front tooth. I was 10 minutes from Dr. Nevid's office. I went there, and he interrupted his busy schedule to see me. He was remarkably soothing, and took an x-ray, filed down the bent crowned tooth, and made an appointment for a visit the next week. He got me through a difficult time.

I'm a little late but this has to be said. I love the staff who work here. They are all so sweet & considerate. I had to get 5 root canals done & they made sure to make it quick & painless as possible! Such a amazing facility!

Worst dentist ever. Two weeks ago, he gave me x-rays and informed me there was nothing wrong. I switched dentists and they found I not only do I need a root canal, but also, under the crown Nevid gave me it wasn't properly done, and now I have to have it redone. The staff in his office even pointed to the xray and said this is the problem, only for Nevid came in he said it isn't a problem. This guy shouldn't be a dentist he's just plain awful and doesn't care about his clients. Last but not least he would cut my appointments short when the other workers were fully prepared to take care of the problems. Edit now that I'm with another dentist she has to remove some of the fillings that nevid did because the little he did do, was done poorly. Quality dental care has dentists that actually care about your wellbeing

State of the art equipment; friendly and professional staff members. Had a crown procedure done. Dr. Mark Nevid made me feel quite comfortable; he explained every aspect of the treatment; skillful, efficient, and he has a good sense of humor. Gotta love those human connects! Highly recommend....

The dental hygienist was very good...she was very thorough and had a steady hand. Also, Dr. Cosden has been my dentist for many years for a reason...he is excellent!

My cleaning was superb as usual. Not impressed with the new doctor though. Always had Dr Nevid and found him to be thorough. This routine examination lasted all of one to two minutes. I just don't feel they took a really good look. Hope things improve.

Mother and I just got home from our very first appointment at Dr. Nevid's office and I have to say I am very pleased, my mother saw Dr. Nevis and couldn't be happier with the care he showed and advice that was given. I myself saw Dr. Brown and I am also pleased, I have suffered from jaw pain or quite sometime now and Dr. Brown was very informative of possible causes and when my my jaw pain got to an extreme level while in the office Dr. Brown was very quick to help me relieve as much as he could. I am beyond glad I found this office.

Dr Nevid and his entire staff whether reception, administrative, other dentists or hygienists are the absolute best! The office is immaculate, the technology & equipment is brand spanking new. My wife and I have nothing but praise for how well the office is run and how great, personable and professional everybody is. Could not recommend this practice more highly! AAA+
