Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

Dr. Helms is known for his friendly, easy-going and comfortable chair-side manner. Patients feel comfortable discussing their dental concerns with him and often share a personal experience regarding their children, family or health issues. Dr. Helms listens and provides an additional level of support and comfort.
Dr. Helms completed his undergraduate studies at East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He has furthered his passion for dentistry by completing postgraduate studies with The American Orthodontic Society, L.D. Pankey Institute, Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), and American Dental Implant Association to name a few. He is continually taking courses to stay on the cutting edge of his profession.
Dr. Helms has been married for twenty-nine years to his wife Pamela and they have three grown children, whom they are very proud of. The Helms strong Christian faith keeps them active in their church and Dr. Helms helps lead his Bible Study group. They are active in missions both in their community and overseas. When not spending time with his family he may be found enjoying his favorite hobby golf.
Dr. Hunt is a native of Raleigh, NC and a graduate of Broughton High School. After completing her undergraduate degree at UNC Wilmington on a soccer scholarship, she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from University of Louisville. She received advanced training at UNC Chapel Hill focusing primarily on dental cosmetics. Additionally, she has pursued continuing education and gained immense experience in the areas of sleep medicine, pediatrics, crown and bridge procedures, and the systemic link between the body and oral health.
