I was disappointed but not surprised to come review Dr. Groskos office and find that someone else had almost the exact same experience (read review from "Lee Anne" ) I would not recommend this office to anyone. I had a root canal done by Dr.Grosko. I was young but I felt the whole process was wrong even as a teenager. I returned almost 10 years later for complications with said root canal. I now know from an adult perspective how unprofessional this office truly is.

Was referred to this Endo because he's literally the only one in Newark for and infected old root canal for a retreatment. Being as this IS Newark Ohio he should understand this is a low income town. Refused to work with pricing or payments of any kind out of pocket and charges WAYYYYY too much (1700$) for the retreatment. He should probably move this practice to Columbus. Does he not realize where he is? Who in this area with most of the town being on Medicaid has that type of money for treatment? Just goes to show this is a money hungry practice. Look elsewhere like Buckeye Endodontics. At least they worked with a more reasonable price even if they don't take payments. Grosko should probably rethink some of his prices and the way low income people are treated.

I would not recommend going here. For me, dealing with them was terrible. They wouldn't respond or return my calls and the dentist made me feel like I was taking an eye exam. He poked at my sore tooth which made it worse. Didn't recommend any medication for infection which is what I had. I had to already had an x-ray but needed a more advanced one. He knew this but took the same x-ray anyway then charged for it and the office visit. Still did nothing to help. I had to wait longer to get into another specialist.

This dentist and his team are absolutely amazing! The dentist was so patient and made me feel very comfortable! I had to get a retreat root canal, so I was very nervous! Very satisfied with this dental office!

Dr. Grosko is very thorough, kind, and professional. Took the time to explain my x-rays to me & walk me through what needed to be done. Did a really great job also explaining to me what was wrong with a previous root canal I had done. Even drew up an illustration of my tooth at different angles to clarify what the situation was. You can tell Dr. Grosko genuinely enjoys what he's doing and is passionate about his work which makes a world of a difference to the patient having dental work done. I've always dreaded going to the dentist, orthodontist, or endodontist. But this was actually a surprisingly pleasant experience! Highly recommend!

This is going to be a long read but worth it if you want an honest review! : If I could have done no stars I would have. I needed an X-ray done referred by my regular dentist. I asked my mom if she knew about this Dr. because I've never been & she warned me not to go here. She was having pain in a tooth, went here & he drilled straight into her temporary crown right away, without asking questions first. She had to tell him she has a crown but it was too late. He broke her crown & left her in pain. He gave her a small envelope with Advil & said that will make it better. Long story short with her, he cut her gums, she now has a bare spot in her mouth, he left her with an open spot on her tooth & that led to in infection. She called back & all he could ask was if she took the Advil! She didn't go back. With me, he started tapping on teeth I got crowns on a week ago & asking if they hurt, I said yes but for a good reason & explained it was my lower teeth causing pain. He said oh. & started tapping the lower teeth. He was mixing up how X-rays, didn't know what he was looking at, on more than one occasion. He had me bite down so hard on this stick I heard a crack & immediately my eyes started watering terribly. I asked what tooth he was looking at on the X-ray, he said tooth 31, the hygienist/ receptionist said no it's tooth 18. I came with a referral paper, he still didn't check out the right teeth! Instead he tried to give me Advil & said come back. I said I will not be back & I want to find the pain not mask it. & left. His focus was more on the wrong teeth I already had done then trying to find my problem. He was absolutely terrible. He would rather solve your problem with a couple Advil's then actually help you. He answered none of my questions, instead changed the subject. I honestly could not believe how I was being treated & I was thinking he has to be joking. Nothing at all got accomplished.

As a general dentist who has referred patients to Dr. Grosko over the past couple years, I am always impressed with the feedback I receive when they return! He always tries to work them in and get them out of pain as quickly as possible and is very gentle. His work is excellent and I would trust him with any of my patients, friends, or family.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could!! The staff and Dr Grosko are all so caring and informative. He took a good amount of time listening to what I had been through to get to the point of needing an endodontist in the first place. He took even more time to do many tests to determine why I was in pain for so long. Took time to explain my options, put me at ease with his expertise and experience to make me feel confident in the decision to move ahead, trusting him. Dr. Grosko explained what was happening every step of the way. I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I found Dr. Grosko for a procedure that I was dreading for weeks. I do NOT trust or like doctors of any kind and Dr. Grosko stands out to me as someone who cares and will do a good job as well as provide a comfortable atmosphere while doing his work. Thank you all so much.
