Dr. Mark Schwartz has been practicing in Monroe since 1992. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1988 and received the prestigious Mary Lawson award for compassion and public service. Dr. Schwartz graduated with honors from SUNY at Stonybrook in 1984 with a BS in biology. He also completed a one-year postgraduate family practice residency at Waterbury Hospital. This program gave Dr. Schwartz intensive postgraduate training in a broad spectrum of care, and allows him to skillfully treat many conditions that some practices must refer to a specialist. He has accumulated over 500 hours of postgraduate continuing education.
Dr. Schwartz is originally from the Bronx and is an avid sports fan (he worked at Yankee Stadium - Red Sox fans are still always welcome!) and racquetball fanatic. Dr. Schwartz is also an accomplished musician, adept at playing many instruments (not while he is caring for patients, fortunately). His easy going, patient-friendly bedside manner is in part due to his artistic talents and diverse interests.

Dr. George practices general dentistry and began her professional career in 2003 in Fairfield, CT. She joined the staff of Dental Associates of Connecticut in early 2007 and currently works in the Newtown office.
Dr. George completed her undergraduate work at Pace University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in fine arts. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. George served her general practice residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY where she began volunteering in 1997, assisting the oral surgeons and general dentists on staff. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Women Dentists (AAWD), an organization that represents women dentists across the United States, internationally and in the Uniformed Services.
Dr. George has three beautiful boys and enjoys spending time with them playing and getting into all the trouble boys can get into. In her spare time, Dr. George loves to paint, sew, knit and do anything creative with her hands.
Dr. Braun received his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2019, following in the footsteps of his brother, father, and grandfather into the field of dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Braun completed a general practice residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in 2020, where he trained in all fields of dentistry including oral and maxillofacial surgery, TMJ disorders, endodontics, anesthesia, and restorative dentistry.

Best place EVA. Extremely clean and safe environment. Looks like no effort or expense has been spared to protect us. Dr. Schwartz and his staff have gone way beyond to protect us from the virus! That's why he had been around forever in Monroe. His staff is friendly and caring. I would never go to anyone else. Trust me... he's the best!!!

I was so beyond nervous to go back for he dentist after a long extended time off. The staff were so reassuring and they gave excellent care. The hygienist Sahara was fantastic and was so reassuring throughout the entire cleaning. I finally bit the bullet and will not be returning regularly! So grateful

Let me start by saying that I have a pathological dislike of dentists. Pathological. My wife suggested I go see Dr. Schwartz, who has looked after my step-sons' teeth throughout their childhood (I think she sees me, correctly, as a child in this instance). Bottom line....after being a patient of Mark's for several years, I cannot imagine EVER going anywhere else. Virtually every part of the experience in this office is positive. Reception, billing, hygienists, .....everyone is a joy to interact with.

I've been going to dr. Mark Schwartz for over 20 years his office and everyone in it has always been so kind and polite made sure my kids knew the importance of regular check-ups they work with you for payments if they're expensive and have always been absolutely stellar

I'm not a patient because they didn't take my insurance but Dr Swartz called me before his practice even opened and referred me to dentists that took my insurance and even called back to offered a consultation and prescription if I couldn't find an appointment as a stop gap till I could find a dentist! If my insurance ever is excepted by him I would most definitely see him. You can really tell he cares about people!

Greeted with all the pleasantries one could expect. The patient concern and comfort were a high priority. The oral exam was thorough and conducted in a very professional manner by the dental hygienist. The results of the oral exam were explained by Dr. Schwartz and a future appointment was scheduled.
