In private practice for over 25 years, Dr. Mele completed both an undergraduate degree in chemistry and a doctorate of dental medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He finished his orthodontic residency at Temple University and for 17 years he was a faculty instructor at Temple School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Mele is the long-time treasurer of the Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists. He lives in Abington with his wife Colleen and their three daughters. Dr. Mele grew up in the Philadelphia area on a gentlemans farm caring for goats, sheep, assorted fruit trees and vegetable gardens.
Rosemarie (Ro) is the office clinical manager and is a proud native Philadelphian. A loving mother of four adult children, Ro enjoys her time with her grandchildren, the beach, fishing, kayaking, most sports, and lots of candy!
She is very blessed to be a stage 3B breast cancer survivor! Ro has assisted chairside with Dr. Mele for 24 years. Always willing to bring life experience and comic relief, she is a dear friend and devoted employee!
Terry joined Team Mele as an insurance coordinator back in 2002 after working for 17 years developing desktop applications for the insurance industry. She is currently the offices manager. A proud Penn State graduate, Terry lives in Hatboro with her husband Paul, son Philip, and furry companion Allie.
Outside of the office, Terry is a member of a local conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, an international charity that provides assistance to financially challenged and working poor in our local community. A soprano in the choir at St. Davids church, Terry also loves musical theater.
Linda has been an integral part of Dr. Meles team for over two decades. As an orthodontic assistant and sterilization expert, she enjoys transforming smiles. Linda loves Zumba classes and long walks with her dog Noah. Her bucket list includes participating in a 5K and the Broad Street Run.
Christie is our newest orthodontic assistant; she joined our team in 2020, after extensive general dentistry assistance experience. Christie is also a busy part-time Cosmetologist! A Philadelphia resident, she enjoys her summers relaxing in Wildwood, NJ. In her free time Christie she likes spending time with her family and friends going to sporting events....Go Sixers and NY Giants!
Sandi is a strong advocate for healthy aging and is often seen power walking around town. In her free time Sandi enjoys Sudoku and Words with friends (Scrabble). She also likes pizza Fridays, traveling to the New Jersey shore and kayaking with her daughter.
Claire is the newest member of Team Mele, joining the office in February 2018 as the Front Desk Coordinator. She lives in Willow Grove with her husband, Frank (Dr. Meles older brother) and their chocolate lab, Jake. Claire is Terrys sister.
When not at work, she is a novice ukulele enthusiast. Claire is the proud mother of two adult children and loving Granny to Enzo, the cat. She loves traveling, especially to Maho Bay on the beautiful island of St. John.
