I am from New Jersey. I have been working in the dentistry field for 19 years now. I received my education from William Paterson University. I love my job because I am able to maximize our patients dental insurance & in doing so, afford them the best smile possible. I like spending my spare time with my family, doing activities together. I love gardening & making craft projects, which I use to decorate my home.
I am originally from Lawrence, KS. I started working for Dr. Herman in 2001 when my family moved to Florida. Im a Florida certified Dental Assistant & have been in the industry since 1988, & I truly love my job & working for Dr. Herman. I was born & raised in California & earned my dental assistant training at Chabot College in the Bay Area. I have been working in dentistry since 1992. I presently live in Boca Raton. I am of Cuban descent but grew up in the New York area. I have been in the dental field for 30 years & still love what I do. I started in high school as a dental assistant & went to college in New Jersey where I received my degree in dental hygiene. I am glad to be able to work at a job in a healthcare field that allows me to work one-on-one with patients. I enjoy helping our clients through their treatment as well as educating them about all the tools available to them to achieve good oral health. My favorite hobby is dancing.
I am originally from Columbia, South America & have been in South Florida for the past 18 years. I graduated from CES University in 1991 with a degree in dentistry. I practiced dentistry in Columbia for 7 years before coming to the United States. I began as a dental assistant at Dr. Hermans office while taking my board certification to become a registered dental hygienist. I have been practicing dental hygiene in Dr. Hermans office for the last 17 years. My goal as a dental professional is to educate our patients about periodontal disease & how to address it while promoting good oral health, which has a direct link to overall health & wellbeing. I am very happy working here with Dr. Herman & the rest of the team. It is with great pleasure that I am able to help a wide array of patients every day. I am the proud father of one daughter. Hello & thank you for visiting my website. I am originally from West Orange, NJ, but I have been living in South Florida with my wife & two kids since 1999. I provide general & cosmetic dentistry at my Delray Beach office, of which I have been the proud owner since I moved to Florida. You could say that I was born to be a dentistIts been in my family for generations, starting with my dad, two brothers & a sister-in-law, who are all dentists, & a sister who is a hygienist. Although my son is still very young, hes already talking about taking over the family business one day to carry on our legacy.
Immediately following dental school, I opened my first practice in Kearny, New Jersey where I oversaw the administrative & operational management of these facilities, & I was practicing full-time dentistry as well as being responsible for the ongoing quality & integrity of the office.
Striving to always further my education, I have attended a myriad of continuing education courses, including, but not limited to, oral surgery, endodontics, restorative dental techniques, periodontal surgery & courses in advanced administrative management.

I received my bachelors degree in history & my dental degree from Case Western Reserve University. I am a member of the American Academy of Periodontology & American Dental Association & have taken continuing education courses in implants & non-surgical periodontics. My expertise includes all periodontal aspects of dentistry as well as implantology, oral surgery & the Invisalign technology for bandless orthodontia.
Outside of the office, I volunteer with Dentistry From the Heart to provide dental care to those in need. I also enjoy reading, playing tennis & spending time with my wife, Felicia, & two boys, Spencer & Zachary.
I received my undergraduate degrees in So Paulo, Brazil, & from the University of Washington. I attended the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Community Smiles & the Columbia Basin Health Association.
I am certified in Invisalign & completed the Miami Implant Dentistry Continuum. As part of my dedication to providing the highest quality dental care possible, I have also attended numerous continuing education courses, including those in BOTOX, fillers, nitrous oxide oxygen sedation & cosmetic dentistry.

Does anyone else have problems with your teeth from Dr. Milanis' Dental procedures with his leaving this practice? My name is Leo Sadler, retired. I've spent almost $15,000. Money I honestly can't afford... 3 years ago, Dr. Milanis had a vision of a great smile for me. Approx.1.5 years later, Dr Milanis either quit or something and wasn't even close to finishing. Saw Dr. Herman and then Dr. Masi for 2 more bridges, one of which fell in PA. snowbirds this past summer, spent $1200. just to make it back to FL. And the temporary bridge fell out again today, a few minutes after 2pm. The Office closed at 2pm... I just saw Dr Herman last week after I asked for a consultation.. When I told Dr Herman what happened in PA, I said after spending so much money, I thought bridges should at least last 3 to 5 years and he said, and I quote, "That's exactly what the guy at the Tire Center said to me." IN GOD WE TRUST

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my wonderful experience I had here at this dentist office! Dolly Hernandez did an amazing job on my deep scaling, I was nervous about going to the dentist because I had bad experiences with other companies beforehand.... not only did she make me feel calm and good about being there, but, I actually did not experience all of the pain I was used to from other dental offices in the past.She was so professional, sweet and gentle and this is one place I actually look forward to returning to keep my teeth in tiptop condition! Dolly was extremely knowledgeable of her business.The entire staff is so friendly and caring for your concerns, and I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for the best customer service and the best care for your pearly whites! Dr Cunha was the dentist that took care of me. I had only half a mouth of teeth left. Amazingly she took them all out in one day. It is now 6 hours after the appointment and I am doing extremely well. I swear Dr. C hands were touched by God. She is a true angel. You can only be so lucky to find a dentist as good as her. Also met Dr. Herman today and he is quite a very nice man and I'm sure his work is also extraordinary

I went yesterday for a cleaning and they got me in right away with Maria the hygienist. She was amazing. Extremely thorough and just a genuine nice person. I felt very comfortable. One of the best cleanings I ever had. Saw Dr. Herman afterwards and he is a really cool genuine guy that Explains everything in a very understanding way. Lori at the front desk was super nice and help me understand my options. Great experience. I appreciate you guys!!

Needed top plate and bottom . The Doctor and Staff are amazing, pleasant and caring. Dr. Herman was a hands on dentist who did all the measuring and checking to make sure everything was perfect. I'm so happy to be able to eat real food again and not worry about my plate falling down. I would recommend him to any one who wanted a Doctor who really cares,about his patience. I am om a fixed income. I borrowed $2,500 to get a root canal and cap on my tooth 1/31 & 2/22 this year. I went back soon afterwards because it was bothering me. Dr Herman told me all was well and to just give it a few months. I got an infection the beginning of June and went to see Dr Herman and then saw Dr Espanol on June 6. The tooth has cracked and now must be removed or get an implant for around $6,000. Dr Herman or the surgeon Dr Espanol offered me no empathy. I was told that everything was done correctly. Initially Dr Herman told me that this happens very rarely (1-2%). I was given no relief from my debt nor offered to have my tooth pulled at no extra cost. As a last ditch effort I said that I would give a poor review. But Dr Herman just said that he would respond to it. Then in desperation I said I could get a lawyer and he just said to let the lawyers deal with it. So, although they feel justified I am amazed at the arrogance of the surgeon. He told me that people spend $50,000 on cancer treatment and die. People die from cosmetic surgery. He challenged me to get any other opinion and it will be proven that he did everything correct. He reminded me that I signed the release forms. My big disappointment is how they both stood there basically telling me tough luck. There is nothing they can do. If this happens so rarely why not give a previously loyal patient a little break (at least pull the tooth at no extra cost). It would show good faith and be a good business decision since this happens rarely. But they seemed more concerned about being right than being compassionate to a retired patient on a fixed income Update: I have subsequently learned that given the tooth was bothering me right after the root canal they should have let me use the temporary cap for a few months. Then at least I would have not borrowed so much money. But they were so confident that they took no cautionary measures. I did ask Dr Espanol during the difficult root canal if he thought the tooth was able to take a cap. He assured me that he would "never" do a root canal for a tooth that could not support a cap.

Dr. Herman and his staff are extremely competent and put their patients at ease. They aren't dismissive when you explain any dental related issues and work until they figure out what the problem might be. Dr. Herman's staff includes general dentists, a periodontist, an endodontist and assistive staff. They are open 6 days a week with convenient hours and fit patients in if there is an emergency. I am recommending them to anyone who needs a dentist and is new to the area. And, the big plus is that they aren't a corporate chain.

I've never had a dental practice w/ such all-around professionalism! From Dr Herman himself to the super-friendly staff and hygienists, they can't be beat. Plus I love that they offer Care Credit, which I've taken advantage of twice for some major dental work. It's an interest-free monthly plan. I can't recommend them enough!

If anyone gets to the point where you have to have upper and lower dentures or any other type of dental needs I highly recommend Mark Harmon's office on Atlantic Avenue Delray Beach FL, my dentist there was Dr. Cunha and she is one fantastic dentist walk me through the whole procedure beforehand and was very gentle and caring during the procedure, I was very fortunate to have found them for my dental issues, the staff is always warm and inviting, it's a great dentist office do yourself a favor and check them out, my wife has been there also my son with the same results absolutely fantastic Julian Jay Carrasco...
