Mark Handelsman received his D.D.S. in 1987 from the University of Southern California Dental School. He continued his studies at USC, and obtained his Certificate in Advanced Periodontics in 1989. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 1994. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor at USC for 15 years, teaching Periodontics and Dental Implants, as well practicing in the faculty practice. He has been in full time private practice in Santa Monica, California for over 17 years. He has been involved in clinical research and published many articles. The topics include the Perio-Restorative interface, Guided Tissue Regeneration, Guided Bone Regeneration, Surgical Crown Lengthening, Esthetic Soft Tissue Grafting and Surgical Guidelines for site development and implant placement, & Management of Implant Complications. He has lectured nationally and internationally.

Magical surgical hands like an angel! Never have I felt such at ease and nothing at all! I had gum grafting and he made it the most relaxing, painless, and most seamless experience ever! I highly recommend Him for any procedure!!!

I have had the most amazing experience with Dr. Handelsman and everyone who works here. I first came into his office a complete wreck because I had just knocked out two of my front teeth and he and the rest of the staff were absolutely incredible. I have now been in and out of his office for multiple procedures throughout the last year and a half or so and I am beyond thankful I found this place. Dr. Handelsman is patient and kind and he really worked with me to not only find the best treatment option, but he also walked me through exactly what was going to happen so I felt as comfortable as possible every step of the way. This office has seen me at my worst and I am beyond grateful for everything they have done for me. 110% recommend!

He released me from treatment. After that I went to my regular dentist. My regular dentist told me that I have no insurance money left. Then I realized that Handelsman used up my insurance money for nothing. That is why he released me from his so called treatment. What a crooked man. So far I have some respect those professionals. However, I learned that is not true from hard way. Those people can be crooked man. I learned this in hard way.

I incurred trauma from this Handelman Dentist office. Who had no regard for me as a person. I astounded and I still can't believe how tactless this man is at his job. Callous, and incredibly brutal. The most painful extraction in my life. The most pain in my life period! Pulling someone's tooth should not have been torturous. Stay away especially if you know you need a periodontist.

I incurred trauma from this Handelman Dentist office. Who had no regard for me as a person. I astounded and I still can't believe how tactless this man is at his job. Callous, and incredibly brutal.
