Dr. Engel graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center, at Houston Dental Branch in 2003. Dr. Engel loves practicing dentistry, so immediately after graduating, he began practicing dentistry in Arizona. In 2011, he moved to the Sacramento area, where in his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and seven children.
When Dr. Engel is out of the office, you can often find him working on projects around the home, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Engel is also an Eagle Scout and enjoys teaching the kids some of the skills he has learned over the years.
Dr. Engel enjoys giving back to the community whenever he can. When located in Arizona, he sat on the Advisory Board for Mesa Community College Dental Hygiene Advisory Board. Since relocating to California, he has served as a volunteer Dentist for the California Mission of Mercy with the California Dental Association. He also works in the youth program at his church.

Awesome dental office!! Staff are efficient and very friendly, the office is clean and fun, and Dr. Engel is really lovely. This was my first time in, and Dr. Engel really took time to explain what is going on with my molars, and several options to correct. Truly, I felt like an old friend returning rather than a new patient. Highly recommend Dr Engel, and the entire Engel Family Dentistry team to anyone who wants to know they are in good hands for their well-being rather than a cash-grab. Thank you Dr. Mark & Team!!

Always a pleasant experience, which is saying a lot considering they're a Dental office! Dr. Engel and his staff are always pleasant and friendly, and all do an excellent job. If I ever have a problem, they fix it as quickly as possible. I'm very happy with their service, and even though I now work in Roseville and live in Elk Grove, I still drive out to Folsom for my dental work.

Being in my late 50s I've been to a lot of dentist and Engel dentistry is my favorite. I've had two hygienists clean my teeth and both were great and meticulous. Dr. Engel is great and honestly I look forward to going. How many people say that about going to the dentist?

There will NEVER be enough ways to say how much I LOVE THIS OFFICE!! I have awful teeth, fillings, root canals, etc. and the dentist used to be a place of misery for me. I've been seeing Doctor Engle and his staff for almost 10 years now, I think it is, and I LOVE going in to see them. I feel so comfortable here I've been known to doze off in the chair. from his front desk staff to his assistants, the hygienists and Dr. Engle, friendly, caring and all around AMAZING, anytime anyone is looking for a dentist, I immediately recommend Engle family dentistry!! After years of being embarrassed of my teeth, I now smile with amazing confidence! Thank you to the AMAZING team at Engle Family Dentistry!!!
