Mark E. Young, DDS graduated from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1991. He moved to Vermont in 1993 and has been a general practitioner in the Upper Valley since. By focusing on both patient comfort and care, Dr. Young enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Young is a member of the American Dental association, the Vermont Dental Association as well as a participating member of the Mentor Program at Cerec Doctors in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Young resides in Norwich Vermont. In the winter he enjoys skiing and in the warmer months golf.

Only wanted a crown reinstall and a cleaning. A patient for over 10 years, was told I have 5 months to wait, God bless his success

I have been to multiple dentists in about a 50 mile radius. I have not gone back to one of them except for Dr. Young. I am a cancer survivor and veteran. I had a lot of damage done to my teeth due to chemo and radiation treatments. I also have PTSD from the first Gulf War and needed to be sedated for any dental work. Never have I been so comfortable and confident in a dentist until now. They take the time to listen to you and make you actually feel like a patient should. I have had major fears going back to a dentist due to my PTSD. Before my cancer treatments, I had 2 cavities. Due to the chemo and radiation, I've just had my last of 24 cavities filled. I was in any pain nor discomfort whatsoever at any time. After my first visit, I scheduled weekly visits until I was finished. This place is unbelievable!!! I will not go to anyone els and just really want to thank the Doctor and his friendly and knowledgable staff for their amazing service. They are even out of my network and have had to basically pay for everything myself so far. I had to give up a buying a car to get my teeth fixed (which I haven't had since my cancer diagnosis) and am no longer embarrassed to smile. If that doesn't tell you about this place then nothing else will.

It feels weird to say "Loved it" for a dentist, but it is as good as dental experiences get. =) Always a pleasure. Never felt pressured into anything or like I was being put in a box. Good people. Good practice.
