Dr. Frantz has been a practicing dentist since 1995, after earning a Bachelor of Science in molecular/cellular biology from Humboldt State University in 1991. He attended Temple University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1995. Dr. Frantz was also a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, in which he served from 1992 to 2002. She moved to Boston, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After receiving her DMD, Dr. Silva pursued a specialty in periodontics to further her training in soft tissue grafting, complex dental implant procedures, and bone augmentation. She completed her three-year advanced residency in periodontics, also at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
