Dr. Mark Exler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He is a 1984 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. In 1986, he received his certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
Dr. Exler is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He holds memberships in the Pacific Coast Society of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association.
He is president of the Western Prosthodontic Study Club, a multidisciplinary study group devoted to literature review and treatment planning, and a past associate clinical professor at the University of Southern California in the department of continuing education.
Known as our office foodie, Eric can tell you the best local restaurants and what to order. Office consensus is that his suggestions are rarely wrong! When hes not in the office, he likes to spend his free time paintballing, playing trumpet, cooking, watching Netflix, and cheering on his local sports teams: the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers.
Jessica joined Dr. Exlers team in 2017. Originally from Dallas, Jessica attended the University of North Texas, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with an additional certification in rehabilitation studies. After graduation, Jessica followed her passion for teaching: She was the director of colorguard at Legacy Christian Academy for four years and Liberty High School for five years. She also served as secretary for the North Texas Colorguard Association.
Currently, Jessica is studying digital marketing at Pepperdine University. When shes not in the office or pursuing her education, Jessica is usually somewhere outdoors, enjoying a patio with friends or hiking with her husband and their adorable German Shorthaired Pointer mix puppy.
Pareya joined Dr. Exlers team in 2021. She was born and raised in Southern California and comes from a family with a strong dental background. Pareya attended Cal State Northridge before continuing at the University of Southern California where she received her bachelors in dental hygiene in 2011.
Pareyas journey in dental hygiene began with her passion of helping people and caring for their health. She continues to expand her knowledge and education in her field and is currently expanding into myofunctional therapy.
Sean joined Dr. Exlers team in 2010 as a dental assistant. After working with Dr. Exler for two years, Sean went off to USC to study dental hygiene. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene, he was hired as a clinical faculty member at USC, and spent four years teaching in the clinic. During his time at USC, he worked alongside his mentors, honing his skills.
When Sean isnt in the office, he spends much of his time running his photography and videography business. This creative outlet allowed him to reach people and help his community. Sean enjoys learning and continues to venture into things that pique his interest.
Barry is a certified dental technician with more than 30 years experience in ceramics, crown and bridge, implant restorations, and removable prosthetics. Barry graduated in 1979 from the California College of Dental Technologies.
His laboratory is located within Dr. Exlers office and he has worked closely with Dr. Exler and his patients for more than 20 years. Barrys hobbies include golf, stand-up comedy, and painting with water and acrylic colors.
Alex is a master dental technician with over 40 years of experience. During those years, Alex has worked with some of the most distinguished doctors including, Dr. Exler, with whom he has had a professional relationship for more than a decade. Alex was rewarded 1st place in the Ceramic Dental Technology Competition in Korea and was the president of the board examiners in the Korea CDT National Examination.
He studied in the Waseda Dental Training Center in Japan, where he took courses in ceramic and implant studies, and he underwent Japans National Dental Technology course as well. He later continued dental technician courses at UCLA. He has also taught at the Master Ceramist College as both the director and head instructor.
There are approximately 500,000 Holocaust survivors living around the world. A disproportionate number of the survivors live in poverty and are in great need of dental services. The program focuses on providing care for the most economically vulnerable Holocaust survivors whoare served by the network of Jewish Family and Childrens Service agencies.

Recently moved to the area and have been Dentistry hunting till my visit to Dr. Exler. It's hard to find a practice that has the experience, professionalism, and care that the team brings. Dr. Exler is very thorough and always checks in, goes over X-rays, and makes sure everything is in order. Luckily my hygienist Pareya is caring, informative, and I know I'm in good care. So far I've been twice and will be continuing my dental care with the team.

Quality of work terrible. First tooth broke 15 minutes out the door after placement, biting into a donut. Four other breaks followed. Repair and replacement taking months to complete. Still waiting for their call that the permanent teeth are ready. Not happy at all.

First visit. Met Eric first. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Exler was very friendly and took time to explain treatment options. They even gave me a "First visit Gift".

This business is not at all about helping patients. It is about using patients' dental health condition in order to convince them to pay unreasonable price. It is strictly money oriented business decorated with good manners.

The best detailed teeth cleaning I've ever had, she does an amazing job every time. Very professional and just awesome costumer service. I like the new guy at the front desk, I didn't catch his name but he is very hospitable and professional as well. Keep up the good work. God bless.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mark Exler for over twenty years. I went to Dr. Exler because I was unhappy with the way by teeth looked. He gave me a through examination and went over what the recommended. I had a full-mouth restoration and my teeth looked absolutely beautiful. Dr. Exler is definitely a perfectionist. Dr. Exler's entire staff are very professional. His dental assistants make you feel very comfortable during the procedures. His hygienists give you a very thorough cleaning and tell you what you need to do to keep your gums healthy. I recently had the pleasure of working with Dr. Exler's associate, Dr. Marcela Hasbun. She fixed one of my veneers that had a chip. You can't even tell it was fixed. She did an excellent job. She also make a crown for an implant I had done. She took the impressions and just last week seeded the crown temporarily so I can see how it feels. She is also a perfection. I highly recommend Dr. Exler and Dr. Hasbun. You will be in excellent hands!

This group of dentists are highly skilled and effective in providing World Class dental care in Los Angeles. The attention to detail is second to none. I wasn't very happy with the visit. All I really wanted to do was go for my two front teeth... but first I had to go to an appointment which they said was going to be $190.00, then they give me some toothpaste which I am not going to use.. and somehow it turns into $400.00+ for the appointment.. and now I have to go back and pay for what I originally wanted to go in for. Everyone was very nice. But it was a little... uncomfortable.
