Dr. LeMonnier and his staff are always friendly and accommodating. My husband - who used to hate going to the dentist - agrees that everyone makes us feel so comfortable. Dr. Mark always suggests what should be done, gives us all the facts, and then lets us make a decision without any pressure. We have been using this practice for more than 15 years and could not be more satisfied!

I had horrible tooth pain that was radiating into my jaw and impinging on the nerve. I had tried oil pulling, pain reliever, salt water and hydrogen peroxide rinses. Nothing took it away. I thought I was grinding my teeth at night so I tried a mouth guard. It didn't work. Soooo....I had to do what every person that doesn't have dental insurance dreads to do...make an appointment with the dentist. I had been to Dr. L's office 5 years ago but I am one of those folks that is more reactive to pain than proactive ( to prevent it ). I called on a Monday morning and got an appointment for a Wednesday morning. The next 48 hours I catastrophized the severity of pain. On a scale of one being the cheapest feeling of pain you ever felt to 10 being the most severe and expensive feeling pain I had ever felt. I hovered between a high dollar 8-10 pain level. I had talked myself into saying the words,"Just pull it." if my tooth pain was coming from just one tooth. The morning of reckoning came and I took a cab to Dr. L's office certain that I was going to come out broke, possibly toothless and infirmed. I had virtually 90 seconds of wait time. The receptionist was kind, had all of my paperwork ready and didn't look down on me when I said I had no insurance. A dental hygienist took me back right away and asked what was going on. She left the room and the Dr came right in. He listened to my symptoms tapped on my teeth and then ordered two xrays. I got the xrays and then within 5 minutes he was back. He said I have some good news for you. There is nothing wrong with your teeth. It looks like you have a sinus infection that is pressing on the nerve causing your tooth and jaw pain. He went on to explain that yes I had some spots that should be watched but nothing that needed work now. I needed an antibiotic and a doctor. My entire appointment was well under $200.00. I went immediately to the dr. and she confirmed what he had suspected. I had a severe sinus infection. I am now on a strong antibiotic and am looking forward to this pain going away. Dr. L could have filled those cavities or fixed a tooth that didn't need it. He didn't. Instead he listened and he educated me and pointed me in the right direction. It's hard to find a great dentist who puts honesty and integrity over a pay day. I definitely recommend this practice and from this day forward when I book my appointment for my cleaning I will be proactive instead of reactive. Thank you Dr. L.

Terrible! If you want a nice and professional dentist, here isn't the place. When my sister went to this office for teeth cleaning, dentist LeMonnier said that two teeth under the bridge needed to be filled. When she went to the office next time for teeth filling, he numbed FIRST and THEN said that he can't do the filling because a root canal treatment is needed. As a dentist, why can't he make sure first?? So we paid him $106 for a fee and X-Ray. After returning home, my sister's felt tooth pain for a few days. We also saw that bridge was damaged, so the inside metal color can be seen. When we were at his office, I asked if he can adjust the position of the bridge a little, but he did differently so the metal material was exposed. My sister just got this new bridge two years ago, that costed more than $3000 because she doesn't have dental insurance. When I talked to dentist LeMonnier about this on the phone, he said that he won't do anything for this, not even try to fill the bridge!

Relax. It's like going home. Friendly and comfortable. You don't have to worry about a thing! So thankful I found a practice that makes me feel I'm being well cared for without any pressure to do anything that I'm not ready to do. Dr Lemonnier is gentle and will give you exceptional care. Dawn, the office manager is there to help you with any problems that may come up. The dental hygienist is excellent the office crisp and clean. You'll love it there!

So glad Dr. LeMonnier was recommended to me. I was ready to drop my former dentist, and the timing was great. I, in turn, have recommended him to several others, who are also happy.

Dr. LeMonnier is in my opinion the best dentist in all of the greater Washington/Baltimore area. He saved one of my teeth after a bad dentist butchered it many years ago. After he moved to Frederick I tried several other dentists, but none were as good as he. Eventually I decided to go back to him even though his office is an hour away from me... he is worth every mile!
