I always knew that I wanted to work in the health care field. However, the dental office is the very last place I thought I would end up. After graduating from Medvance Institute in 1996 as a Medical and Coding coordinator I thought I would be working in the hospital or even a doctor's office , however I got detour to the dental field. The profession of dentistry is an extremely complex field to enter. It is both challenging and rewarding.
I want to say it was one of the best decision I have made because helping people is my passion so as a insurance coordinator/ treatment plan coordinator it gives me the opportunity to help my patients to maximize their insurance benefits according to their need while getting financial assistance if needed.
Patient's oral health is our top priority, and as a treatment coordinator I continue to educate myself with continuing education to help our patients as best as I can. My goals are to improve the patients' experience, exceed their expectations, and build lasting dental relationships.
Dr. Blum went to The University of Maryland at College Park outside of DC, graduating in 1982 with a bachelor degree of Science; He also attended to The University of Maryland Dental School getting his degree as Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) on 1986. After school he did a residency at the Miami Veterans Administration and Jackson Memorial Hospital. A few years later he completed a training on Orthodontic for General dentist and has his certification from The International Association of Orthodontics.
He is a friendly and compassionate person; his philosophy of work is based on the best standards of dentistry. Dr. Blum is always pursuing the excellence; he is on top of the latest inventions, materials, equipment and techniques to provide his patients the best dental work.
She is hard working, caring and compassionate. Her responsibilities include, exceeding patient care expectations and providing support for all office team members. Suzette is an expert at establishing practices to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow from check-in to check-out. She also helps patients understand and select treatment options. She anticipates the patients needs in advance and always responds to them in a timely manner.
Tetla is our Insurance Coordinator since 2010. She is a friendly, honest and hard-working a good listener and easy going person, an adviser ninja and easy to talk with how loves basketball and is a huge fan of The Miami Heats.
She is very knowledgeable in her field and works very hard every single day making sure our patients maximize their insurance benefits. She works head to head with different insurance companies and act as a bridge between them and the patients.
Tetla is continuously pursuing excellence, maintaining an updated knowledge of regulation and laws related with the insurance companies. She is a reliable person how loves putting missing pieces together making everything easier for our patients.
