Dr. Andrewswas born in upstate New York and relocated to eastern North Carolina when he was five years old. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) in 1991 from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he also earned an undergraduate degree as a chemistry major.
After he graduated from dental school, Dr. Andrews was an associate for a year before establishing his own practice in Cary in 1992. Since then, he has spent over a 1000 hours enhancing his skills by learning from the worlds finest aesthetic, restorative, and reconstructive dentists, including Dr. Gerald Ciche, Dr. Pete Dawson, Dr. David Garber, and Dr. Frank Spear. Throughout his career, he has gained the respect of his peers and is sought out by other dental professionals for their aesthetic and restorative needs.

I met Dr. Andrews through a referral of my closest friend. The instant I walked through the door, I was put at ease. What an incredibly friendly office staff. The procedures I had to have done were intense, long and quite serious. However, I really enjoyed going because of the personalities I am surrounded by when I get there. Although I would have hours long appointments to get my teeth healthy again, I always knew that after a few weeks of healing, it was so worth the time in the chair. Dr. Andrews is a detail oriented, quality driven perfectionist. He has not only done extensive repair work on my molars, but has truly given me my smile back. I chipped my front tooth as a child and had several caps, bondings, etc. you name it, done to that tooth....None of them ever permanent and all eventually became discolored. Dr. Andrews told me he could fix it to look natural but because I had so many negative experiences before him (over 20 years worth), I put it off until just this past year. I love my smile. It looks absolutely natural to me. He truly is the best and you cannot beat the warmth and friendliness of his staff!!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Andrews and his team! Great customer service, super friendly, and always make you feel welcome. I recently was referred to Dr. Andrews after I had a not so good experience at my previous dentist. At the front desk, Karen took her time explaining co-pays, etc to make sure I understood what I would be paying up front so I would not surprised when it came time for payment later. After my last 3 visits, I would have to say I think Dr. Andrews is very knowledgeable and a GREAT dentist. He really takes his time to explain everything to you which shows he cares about your dental health. I had a few cavities he discovered, and had my first one filled today. NO pain. I never felt the needle go in which was my biggest fear. Three hours later the numbing is finally almost worn off and I still am pain free. The whole procedure was super easy and painless...I am actually not dreading my next dentist appointment for once in my life. I'm disappointed I did not find Dr. Andrews sooner!

Both myself and my mother have been seeing Dr. Andrews for years now, and are always satisfied with the exceptional work he does. He always takes his time and make sure everything is as close to perfect as possible. He is kind, attentive, and caring, and will always be willing to work with you in terms of scheduling, emergencies, and specific concerns. At the beginning of march last year I had a temporary crown break and he and his dental hygienist dropped everything to repair it for me as soon as they could!! His wife Karen works the front desk and is exceptionally kind as well. She always makes sure to send reminders about appointments as well as follow up questions to make sure that you are doing okay after your appointment, wether it be a cleaning or another service! All in all Dr. Andrews and his team are experienced, hard-working, and caring, and I highly doubt you'll be able to find better service elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrews for 18 years. I have seen his excellent work as I have had significant problems to be corrected! He is professional and does the best aesthetic work that I have ever seen. Also, he has a terrific and friendly staff who are quite knowledgable. I would highly recommend Dr. Andrews!

I, too, have been a patient of Dr. Andrews for quite a few years, and have always been pleased with his knowledge in the industry, his attention to detail, and caring, professional manner in addressing my dental needs. The entire staff is professional and pleasant, committed to making each patient's visit a positive dental experience. Update: 6/25/20 I recently had to have dental work at Dr. Andrew's office, and i must say, during this pandemic they completely put my mind at ease regarding their response to the coronavirus. They schedule only a couple of patients daily, so that they can clean thoroughly between each patient. You call from your car when you arrive, a staff member meets you outside the door and checks temperature, ask relevant health questions, gives you a mask and escorts you directly back to the dental treatment room. There is no more waiting in the lounge area, no meeting of other patients, etc. All staff wear masks, and Dr. Andrews and his assistant wear protective gowns, masks, and shields. All of this protocol was communicated to me over the phone before my visit, and they followed through with dedication and professionalism. They have always put the patient's health and safety first, and continue to do so.

Dr. Mark Andrews is the best, he is excellent, he is a detailed perfectionist. He did porcelain veneers on my six top teeth almost 10 years ago I have had so many compliments on my veneers from friends and colleagues Dr. Andrews is not only beyond doing superior work , he is kind and caring I spent a great deal of time in his chair and he always made sure I was comfortable and also letting me know what he was going to do next - which I think is so important with a dentist To save A few dollars, A few years later , I had my bottom teeth done by another dentist, Dr Mark Andrews is now fixing that work. I regret making that choice that another dentist did the work, The quality that Dr. Mark Andrews does is so above anyone else's work as I know. Also when you walk into the office you are usually greeted by his wonderful wife Karen, both Dr. Andrews and his wife know my family and ask about them and I know a little bit about their's , those are the kind of people that they are so kind and so caring. Also, I had a dental emergency very late in the evening, I had his contact information, Felt very bad texting him late, but was assured that he was OK with that , he was so caring, and it was taken care of so quickly and kindly. To give just five stars to this dentist does not do him justice he deserves many more than five stars. I recommend Dr. Mark Andrews to anyone his work is phenomenal!

I've been a patient of Dr. Andrews for more than 6 years. I GREATLY appreciate that Dr. Andrews is so meticulous with the work he does! Ditto the other comments about the shots being 'pain free'. It is absolutely amazing. I never feel the needle going in! In addition, the staff is very friendly. A great experience all the way around!
