Dr. Kleive grew up with five siblings on a 100-acre hobby farm in Minnesota. He enjoys sharing the experiences which have shaped his life. Mark is an avid cyclist and enjoys just about everything associated with the outdoors, especially canoeing and hiking. Several years ago, Mark and his family relocated to Black Mountain, NC and he began to offer dentistry services to people throughout the Asheville area. He lives in the Black Mountain area with his wife Nicki, and their twin girls.
Each member of Dr. Kleives dental team has extensive training and experience in cosmetic dentistrybut thats not all! We are committed to delivering a truly different dental care experience, making sure every person feels safe, comfortable, and welcomed in our office. We are located conveniently off Highway 40 in Black Mountain, NC. Our office is easy to find and close to Asheville and surrounding communities.

Then, we take the time to integrate them into our dental clinic, providing any necessary mentoring and training to enable our team to serve our patients in profound and creative ways. I would highly recommend Dr. Kleive's dental practice. He and his staff use the latest technology to make your visit a success. I chipped a front tooth recently and he was able to fully repair it in 15 minutes. Everyone in the office is also super friendly and professional.

First visit to a dentist in years. Have massive anxiety around dentist, but Tara and Dr. Kleive and the rest of the staff were amazing. While I don't look forward to my next visit, I feel less anxiety at the thought. And to me that's the biggest win. They take their time with you and make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. And helped me when I was battling a panic attack. Would highly recommend them to anyone who has anxiety about dentists.

I just had my initial appointment with Dr. Kleive and his staff after moving to the area from upstate New York. I had a stellar dentist in New York but Dr. Kleive's practice is even better! Dr Kleive seems extraordinarily competent and thorough and is also kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. And the entire staff was the same! I am thrilled to be in such competent and caring hands for my dental health, as dental health is so closely linked with overall health, especially as we age. Dr Mark and his team are fantastic! They are all very pleasant and professional. Wait times are almost non-existent and I am always able to reach the office right away via phone or text (texting super convenient). Most importantly, Dr Mark's expertise, detail, and patience in working with me to customize a bite splint for severe and persistent jaw pain has been life changing. I went from having pain daily that rated around 8/10 to an average of 2/10 with many pain-free days. I cannot thank the team enough for the excellent care and experience!
