Dr. Ashley Thomas is a general dentist at Marion Family Smiles in Marion, Kansas. She grew up in Wichita, Kansas and attended Wichita State University for her undergraduate studies. She decided that dentistry was the career path for her after participating in two overseas dental missions trips and seeing the difference that oral healthcare can make in a persons life. She attended the University of Missouri Kansas City to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Thomas enjoys the artistic and functional aspect of dentistry. Restoring a patients confidence, helping to ease anxiety, and getting to know her patients along the way are her favorite parts of her job. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Thomas is happily married to her wonderful husband and they have a beautiful baby girl named Sofia. In her free time she enjoys bonding with her baby girl, doing house projects with her husband, and exploring local restaurants, coffee shops and breweries with family and friends. When time allows she loves to get away to the mountains for camping and hiking. A fun fact about Dr. Thomas is that she has an identical twin sister,who is NOT a dentist!

For me, dentists have always been associated with pain and anxiety. Dr. Adam Richards took the time to discern the difference between the two and administered appropriate numbing levels to relieve the pain, and thus, my anxiety. First time in my life pain was fully controlled during the procedure and it made all (OK, most!) of the anxiety fade away. Thank you for being aware of your patients individual needs and sources of discomfort!

I am not a fan of dentists but Dr. Thomas and the staff at Marion Family Smiles was amazing. They explained things and were very upbeat. They made me feel relaxed about the visit. The relationship between the staff and Dr Thomas was amazing. Great experience!

I have VERY bad teeth, I've been coming here since mid 2020. I'm terrified of the dentist but the staff here, is so awesome, so comforting, very professional. I can't say enough about how they made me feel at ease. I'll NEVER go anywhere else !!!

Enjoyed working with Dr. Ashley today. My mouth feels so much better. I cannot remember the tech's name, she was kind and nice but was too much of a chatter box. Her noise. Making distracted from the treatment. As usual, Neva was was efficient
