Early symptoms of oral cancer include: a sore on the lip, in the mouth, or in the throat that does not heal; a lump on the lip, in the mouth, or in the throat; a red or white patch found anywhere in the mouth; unusual pain or bleeding in the mouth; swelling of the mouth; and any difficulty or discomfort felt in chewing or swallowing.

Following good oral hygiene practices includes eating the right foods, brushing after meals, flossing at least once a day, and scheduling regular dental visits. If you maintain good oral hygiene, you may need general cleanings at least twice a year. Some patients may need more more general cleanings than others.

A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a badly decayed or infected tooth. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.

The term 'Root canal' describes the natural cavity within the center of the tooth where the soft pulp and pulp chamber is located. Here lies the tooth 's nerve lies within the root canal. After the tooth has emerged through the gums, it 's nerve is not vitally important to the tooth 's health and function. Its only function is sensory. It 's presence or absence does not affect the day-to-day functioning of the tooth.

Tooth decay and periodontal disease are the most common causes of tooth loss. Tooth decay takes place when most of the tooth's mineral makeup has been dissolved away and a hole (cavity) has formed. While tooth decay primarily affects children, periodontal disease, or gum disease, affects mostly adults.

This dental office is all about profit. I have always been happy with the cleaning that Carla has provided and was OK when they switched me to a new dentist last year. However, they refused to see me this year because I cannot afford the panoramic x-ray. I am up-to-date on bitewings; as I had them last visit. But without agreeing to the more expensive panoramic x-ray I was told I cannot receive my cleaning and exam! They cater to those who have 'good' dental insurance, but even as a long-term client, you are treated poorly as soon as you become uninsured. Is it not better to get a cleaning & exam than nothing at all? Shame on them!

had been a patient for 6 years. Had all my teeth capped which included 5 implants.. 3 caps have either broken or cracked. Of course these weren't under warranty.. certainly very unhappy with this dental group. Very costly Yes I have the same last name as my Dentist ( Wallace) but he is no relationship,,, very disappointed with this. will cost me more $$$ to get these replaced. Not happy at all and don't recommend.

The husband & I see Dr. Wallace. He is, without a doubt, the very best dentist I have had in my lifetime, hubby agrees. Plus, he's actually a prosthodontist and he has created three crowns for me and two for my husband. He is quite talented, artistically, when it comes to creating new teeth. He also does excellent general dentistry. He's kind, caring, painless and has a nice sense of humor. He's an all-around good guy and talented dentist. The office is exceptionally clean. During this time of covid, they have been very conscious about covid protocols and safety for the patients and the employees. Everyone is masked and they do cleaning after every patient. The office staff are also excellent, friendly and caring. In general the business is very well run and organized. His pricing is also very reasonable. After a visit today, I left the office with an estimate of work I want to have done...two filling repairs and two porcelain crowns. The total for all that work is $2,100. Compared to other estimates I've had from other dental practices in our area, this is quite reasonable. Fortunately, our dental insurance will pay more than half. The office does accept a variety of dental insurance plans.

We met Dr Edwards when we first moved here and we were so impressed with his bedside manner. My wife had a loose bridge and they got us in right away. Terri the assistant is fabulous. She is so reassuring, a great asset to this business. Unfortunately the teeth under my bridge were broken so we had to schedule extractions. Dr Perkins and Terri did the extractions with minimal discomfort. I have a TERRIBLE gag reflex. Yet Terri was able to get the X-rays and impression for a new bridge. The prices are fair. I will continue to come to this facility for all of my dental needs as will my wife. We definitely recommend this facility.

My first visit with Dr Feldman was for a broken tooth. They got me in quickly and took care f the broken tooth. It was painless and the Dr. and staff were professionals, kind and caring. Especially his assistant who's name I have trouble saying never mind spelling. I wish I could have her as a hygienist as well. She was amazing!! Thank you very much.
