Dr. Albanese was born and raised on Staten Island. He attended MonsignorFarrell High School and received his undergraduate degree from St. JohnsUniversity. Dr. Albanese graduated from Rutgers Dental School in 2011. Hewent on to complete a general practice residency at Jersey Shore MedicalCenter where he gained experience in general dentistry, oral surgery anddental implants. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Albanese returned to practice inStaten Island.
Dr. Albanese is a passionate believer in being up to date with all moderndentistry has to offer. His continuing education has focused on dentalimplants and cosmetic dentistry. He has taken the NYU Implant ContinuingEducation program and has taken over 100 hours of continuing education eachof the last two years.
Dr. Albanese is a member of the American Dental Association, the New YorkState Dental Society, the Second District Dental Society of Richmond, theAcademy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Christen Carute, a Staten Island native, attended the College of Staten Island where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience and Developmental Disabilities. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine and received several honors and awards for her leadership, achievements, and ethical and caring behavior towards patients.
Dr. Carute completed her general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital and continued her training to serve as Chief Resident during her second year. She is an active member of the American Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association, the Second District Dental Society and the Richmond County Dental Society.
Michael J. Reilly, D.D.S., a Staten Island native, is a member of American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Reilly received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington D.C., where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1985.
He completed a general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital in 1986. In 1991, he went on to complete his post doctorate certificate in orthodontics at Albert Einstein Montefiore Medical Center. He is a certified Invisalign provider and has been in private practice for 20 years.

total waste of my time! went in for an invisalign consult and dr albanese referred me to an orthodontist who does braces without even giving me a quote on invis after i said i was NOT interested in braces. he didn't even exam my teeth. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Always a pleasure to visit Marine dental. I had the best experience with Kate as my hygienist. She will make you feel very comfortable. Highly Highly recommended.

The staff at this place is ok They called & Text & E-mailed me to remind me of of my appointment . Although, beware .....they tried to get you to pay for the bill out of pocket without contacting the insurance companies first. Always go through insurance company and let them handle the payments. Do not let them side talk you into paying for the bill and then having the insurance company pick it up . They are just supposed to ask you for your co-payment only!!!!

I had a lot of anxiety switching dentists. I only had two dentists from the same practice my whole life. Dr. Carute made the transition so easy. She is always very friendly, professional and easy to talk to. I am so glad that she is my dentist!!!

Great experience. My first visit at the office was an emergency and received best help ever from Dr Albanese. Appreciate help of all stuff which is wonderful, experienced and positive. Everyone in the office is committed to provide best service. I also got my first really good cleaning thanks to Ariel!! Highly recommended.

I began with Marine Dental in October 1994 with Dr. Jack Miceli when he had his practice on the grounds of Bayley Seton. He was always attentive to my concerns and made time whenever there was an emergency. I brought my 2 daughters to Marine Dental from the age of 2 until they relocated out of state as young adults. I moved to Sayreville. NJ in June 2014 and have continued with Marine Dental. Dr. Miceli has since retired yet I have continued with Dr. Joseph Albanese and am still seeing him and my hygienist Michelle whom I adore! If you are searching for a compassionate, caring and friendly staff, you will be pleased with Matine Dental. I travel from NJ to Staten Island to this day for my routine cleanings. Give Marine Dental a try! Oh and Taylor who confirmed my appointment is also a sweetheart!

Best staff I've ever encountered in the medical field. Everyone is super sweet, respectful and make you feel comfortable; especially the dentist. Awesome guy, big teddy bear. Will be back in June for a cleaning, and actually looking forward to it.

I am more than satisfied with the professional and caring way that I am treated every time by all of the staff at Marine dental. I'm a big teddy bear and can't handle pain and have to say that I haven't had to experience that every time I am seen and undergoing a dental procedure. If pastor bs not your game then this is the place for you!!

This office is absolutely wonderful. I can't even put into words how great of an experience they have made this for me. Dr.Albanese is by far the most amazing dentist I have ever been to in my life. He is so kind, honest and personable I would recommend him to anyone! I can go and on but truly he is such a fabulous doctor, I would not go anywhere else!! Also Taylor at the front desk is such a sweet heart and was so helpful and patient. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making this experience so nice. And Dr.Albanese you are the BEST!!!!! :)

I've been with Dr. Albanese for over 10yrs now, and I only have great things to say about him . The front desk, along with the nurses and technicians are absolutely fantastic. The front desk have always been helpful with my needs and appointment times. Dr. Albanese has always looked out for me. I highly recommend this office, you won't be disappointed.
