Dr. David Diehl was raised in Denver, CO. While growing up he enjoyed hiking, biking, and skiing in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Dr. Dave served a two-year LDS mission in San Pablo, Philippines speaking Tagalog. Upon returning from the Philippines, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Brigham Young University.
Dr. Dave earned a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. He has completed over 300 hours of additional training in implant dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Currently he is involved in another 100 hours of training in orthodontics. He continuously seeks training and professional development courses to stay up to date on the latest advances in dental care. He is thrilled to be practicing along with his best friend from dental school, Dr. Joseph Weber, and also with his brother, Dr. Russell Diehl.
Outside of work Dr. Dave can be found running, biking and spending time with his amazing wife Allison, 2 year old son Dean, and newly born twins Clark and Mae. The Diehls and their dog, Rudy, enjoy hiking the Ruby Mountains, going on walks around the Marina, spending time with family, and traveling.
Dr. Joseph Weber relocated with his family in 2018 to Spring Creek after practicing dentistry in Houston, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he trained alongside Dr. David Diehl. He earned a Masters in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University. During his time in Utah he met and married his amazing wife in 2010, and together they have three young children that he adores. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and the outdoors riding his mountain bike.
Dr. Weber understands the importance of ongoing education and continues to train in all areas of dentistry with a special emphasis on implants through the renowned American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Cosmetics, and Pediatrics. His missionary work to the Dominican Republic has taught him the importance of service while gaining him fluency in Spanish. Hes excited to use this knowledge to serve the people of Spring Creek and to work with his close friends Drs. David and Russell Diehl.
Dr. Russell Diehl also earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to this degree he attended Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. During his time at BYU he met and married his wife, Jess. They love hiking, exploring the outdoors, and hunting, especially with their bird dog, Chloe, and are excited to be in Spring Creek with the beautiful Ruby Mountains.
Dr. Russ values continuing education and integrating educational knowledge along with personal and professional experiences in order to provide the care you deserve. He is fluent in Spanish from his time as a missionary in Argentina. Dr. Russ is grateful to be part of the great team at Marina Hills Dental and is excited to work alongside his brother, Dr. David Diehl, and his good friend, Dr. Joseph Weber.
Lydia keeps Marina Hills Dental running smoothly. As our Office Manager, she joined the team in early 2017. Lydia is originally from Northern California. She relocated to Elko County in 2015. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends going camping and boating.
Shellee has a way of making you feel like family when you walk in our door. She comes to work every day with a smile and a great attitude. Shellee has lived in Elko County for 32 years. She has 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy) and 3 grandsons!
Tasha has been the teams Billing Coordinator for more than a year. She is from Oregon, but has settled down here in Spring Creek with her husband and two daughters. In Tashas free time, she enjoys spending time with her family riding side-by-sides and camping.
As our Lead Dental Assistant, Sabra has been a part of our team for 3 years. Sabra is originally from Salmon Falls, Idaho and has been in Elko County for three years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.
Sharina has been a certified hygienist for 8 years. She is originally from Colorado but has been in Elko County for 3 years now. Sharina attended hygiene school at Colorado Northwestern Community College and graduated in 2011. Sharina likes to be outdoors with her husband and two little girls in her free time.
Jordan is a Registered Dental Hygienist here at Marina Hills Dental. She attended University of Nevada, Reno where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended Carrington College in Boise, ID where she received her Associate Degree in dental hygiene. Jordan was born and raised here in Elko, NV where she loves to spend time outdoors with family and friends.
Andre grew up here in Spring Creek, NV. However, he is originally from the state of Arizona. He likes to spend his spare time with his family and friends. Andre enjoys going to Wingers, ice tea and jerky! He is also a superhero - some may know him as, The Flash!
