Dr. Ahn graduated from the University of Chicago, received his doctorate of dental surgery from Columbia University in New York, and completed his postgraduate training in Periodontics at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Ahn held a position at the UOP School of Dentistry where he focuses on teaching periodontal surgery.
He is the co-author of multiple publications and is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Ahn is a past president of the Marin County Dental Society. Dr. Ahn is also the clinical associate professor at the University of California in San Francisco for the graduate program of periodontics.
