John Marietta has been a lifelong resident of Salina. He attended Salina Public Schools and went on to graduate with honors from Kansas State University where he received Blue Key Senior Honor Society recognition.
After graduation, John attended Creighton University School of Dentistry where he received his dental degree (DDS). At Creighton, he received the senior dental honor recognition of OKU (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) and participated in the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) program. With ILAC, he spent two months in the Dominican Republic as part of a health care team.
After graduating from Creighton, Dr. Marietta completed his residency at Denver General Hospital and has since been in private practice in Salina. He enjoys the challenge of learning about and implementing new techniques and procedures that will benefit his patients.
During the summer of 2015, Dr. Marietta returned to the Dominican Republic as a mentor to Creighton ILAC students. Dr. Marietta believes in giving back to Salina and participated in numerous Kansas Missions of Mercy. He has served on the City of Salina Heritage Commission and has volunteered as a coach, scout leader, and at church.
Karen has been dental assisting for over 2 decades. She is a honed professional who will help make your dental visits smooth and predicable. She is knowledgeable in many phases of dentistry and can answer many of your questions.
We have been serving the Salina area since 1982. We are noted for our caring friendly manner. Listening to patients and understanding their concerns and fears is a primary focus. Once we truly understand a patient and have had the opportunity to do a through examination and diagnosis we work with our patients to accomplish their goals.
Our modern up to date practice offers cutting edge solutions to many dental problems. We believe in being well organized and well prepared for our patients. I have nothing but great things to say about this Dentist. I had 11 teeth pulled and dentures placed in one setting. I had told him that I was scared of the dentist and needed all the sedation I could get. I asked about 1001 questions leading up to the appointment and at the appointment. Carol the receptionist answered all of them as well as the dental assistant and the Dentist. They are all excellent. After the proceedure I had a few problems with denture sores (this is normal) and the Dentist got me in right away and fixed the problem. The proceedure itself was flawless. I actually think I fell asleep with the sedation and woke up to having new teeth. I could not be happier. Also the price of this was excellent. The cheapest rates I have found by far.( I saved 400 going with this dentist). I would highly recommend. Very professional, compassionate, and they listened to my concerns with out making me feel stupid for my apprehensions. They cared about me and tevery visit I have I feel like I am the only one there. I know others are as well but the service is very personable. Thank you for making me feel better and giving me back some confidence. If you need a great dentist with an excellent team this is the option.

Great experience with my abstraction. Hadn't been to dentist since I was 16 and I'm almost 51. Bad experience in the past. But this visit I was totally relaxed. Gave prices up front so I knew what I was looking at. I will go back as I'm sure I have more work to be done.

Everyone here is super friendly and professional. The Doctor does a great job of explaining everything. He is also very upfront about price and working with your insurance to make it as cheap as possible for you, and involves you in the decision of when to do different things, which I really appreciate. My kids are the 4th generation of my family to go here, if that says anything, and he does great with my littler one too.
