It is always easier to talk to someone when you know and trust them. Id like to tell you a little bit more about myself so we can start out our relationship better. Im hoping that by having a trusting relationship, you will feel open and be able to share your concerns with me, so that I will be able to take better care of your teeth.

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. My father and grandfather are dentist and my mother is a dental hygienist so Ive spent lots of time at the dentists office! Their examples have definitely played a big part in my becoming a dentist. I live in Chandler with my wonderful wife Lynda, and our two daughters, Eden who is 17, and Maiya who is 14. I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy the outdoors. We are avid hikers, mountain bikers, and skiers. You can often find us out on the sand dunes, or hiking the Grand Canyon.

After completing a successful service mission in Berlin Germany for the LDS church, I attended the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College, where I pursued a degree in Biology and a minor in German. I then attended Marquette University where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002. While in dental school, I excelled quickly and was able to graduate early and attend many additional classes taught by experts in the field of advanced orthodontics and TMD (a jaw disorder). During my summer breaks from dental school, I was privileged to spend time volunteering in various dental clinics doing dental work and greatly expanding my experience in the field. Since graduating, I continue to take 20 30 hours of continuing education classes every year to be able to stay abreast of advances in technology. These classes have included topics such as implants, sedation, cosmetics, and other advancements in materials, procedures, and equipment.

I have been practicing dentistry for 14 years. I am passionate about education and providing the very best treatment for patients. I am a big believer in prevention, health care, and dentistry has to do better job of educating patients and employing methods of preventing disease, whether it be diabetes or periodontal disease. In our office, only when prevention fails do we move on to restoring and replacing whats been lost. When this is necessary, we always try to restore things as closely to biologically ideal as we can, because things just work better when we follow the rules of biology. I now practice dentistry part time and am actively involved in mentoring other dentists and educating staff we are affiliated with to provide better care for their patients.

When you first meet a new dentist, it takes a while to know and trust him. Id like to tell you more about myself so we can collapse the amount of time it takes to get to know me. Im hoping that this will help open the door to you feeling more comfortable around me so you can share your concerns with me. Then Ill be able to take better care of your teeth your teeth are my mission in life!

Spending time on my uncles farm driving a tractor along with my cousins and four siblings in Richland, Washington, I was raised with small town, good solid values. I am the oldest of the children in our family, and this meant to me lots of responsibility that I had to learn quickly. Part of those responsibilities has included learning how to make people feel comfortable no matter what situation they are in.

My wife was my high school sweetheart. She has been a hair stylist in North Scottsdale for the last 3 years. We dont have any children yet but our 8-year-old Chihuahua named Blitzen is our pride and joy right now. He loves to bask in the sun and bark at anything that breathes.

We love to binge watch shows, eat out at great restaurants around the valley and constantly search for new food adventures. Im also a huge video game nerd and was world ranked on Halo2 way back in the day. I still play video games but wake surfing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter gives me a lot of pleasure. I stay shape by hiking.

My bachelors degree in Biology was from Central Washington University and my Masters degree was in Biomedical Science at Midwestern University in Glendale AZ. I continued there after the Masters degree for my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. It was at Midwestern University that I was introduced to all aspects of dentistry including implants, cosmetic dentistry, digital dentistry and full mouth reconstructions and my love for dentistry was awakened to a high level.

Dentistry is one of those professions where you have to stay up-to-date. I am always actively involved in dental study groups about the latest advancements in dentistry with my colleagues and attend CEs to constantly discover more and more new techniques that can save my patients money and prevent pain and suffering.

Helping my patients reach a level of comfort is one of my big goals. Eliminating the anxiety they feel at the dentists office and having a calm experience is what I hope to bring to every patient. Because of the strong connection between oral health and systemic health, I always seek to inform my patients about this so they can use it to their advantage to reach their goals of overall health and happiness. The ability to boost someones confidence with that perfect smile is another satisfying aspect of dentistry that I love to provide.

We discuss the hows and whys of prevention so they can make the proper decisions and take the right actions to prevent dental disasters. Its my job to provide this education to my patients. I love all my patients and want to do whats right by them as well as their mouth!

I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona as the oldest child in a family of six. I loved being part of a larger family and all the excitement that it brought around the house. I grew up loving sports and was active in soccer, basketball, volleyball, track and snowboarding.

I also happen to be a technology geek and especially love products made by Apple. I met my wife, Jenn, through a unique story involving her twin sister and one of my best friends. They are now married as well and we all have a blast at all family events! We are blessed to have three sons, Blake, Kade, and Crew, whom we love to play with. When not working, we love to travel to the mountains and the lake for some snow and water sports.

Early on I gained an appreciation for the health sciences. Both my uncles are doctors and had a vital part in my inspiration. Through some minor cosmetic dental work done by my dentist, I realized what a powerful impact a healthy, confident smile can have on your life. I realized I wanted to give back to people in a way that helps them achieve a smile they are proud of. I love dentistry and believe in the power of a confident smile and in treating all patients as if they were my own family members.

I began my education at Vanguard University in Southern California where I received a bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I was then accepted into Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I excelled in my clinical skill development at the top of my class and became especially interested in the area of CAD-CAM and cosmetic dentistry. Since graduation, I have furthered my clinical development through continuing education especially in the area of implants, sedation dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics and treating TMD.

Practicing dentistry has become one of my greatest passions. It is a career that I truly love, and it is a joy to come to work every day. My staff is amazing and is one of the biggest reasons our office is so successful in caring well for our patients. I am blessed to be an owner of multiple dental practices and have a wonderful professional relationship with my partner, Dr. Pope. We are constantly striving to make the dental experience more wonderful for each and every patient. It is our goal to provide the highest quality care one can receive in the dental environment. We want to create an office you are proud to be a part of!

I was satisfied until they billed my insurance $63 for a cleaning. My insurance paid 59.85. Then I was sent a bill for $8.15. They added a five dollar paper statement fee which apparently I agreed to electronically. I would have preferred that they just told me how much I owe at the end of my treatment for just asked me to pay the money when I went in for my next cleaning.

The Dental team does a great job. The problem arises when it's time to pay. The manager, Carol, admitted to me they didn't quote actual full price of what's needed for you procedure because "we don't want to overwhelm the patient." This happened to my 80 year old retired Mother on a fixed income. If she knew it was going to cost over $8000.00 for the procedure instead of the quoted $3800.00, she would have got another opinion. The front office is dishonest and we will never use this business again.

All the staff was very friendly during my visit. Everything that was being done was explained and multiple options for care were given to me when appointment was completed. I look forward to going back to the maricopa location for future dental appointments for myself and family

I'm a patient, my mother is not. My mother fell & chipped her front teeth, was bleeding & couldn't see where from. I called at 4pm to see if they can get her in, just look and see if anything serious had happened. The front desk had the audacity to tell me the last "new patient" appointment was at 3pm. I just wanted her to be seen as an emergency, can't they make an exception, "she is bleeding?" They put me on hold & said the doctors said they didn't have time for her. I hung up on them. I won't go back. I called the dentist next to domino's, they were more than happy to get her in, x-rays and all. I will be going to them from here on out, with or without dental insurance. Oh, and if I could give ZERO STARS...I would. They don't deserve 1 star. They obviously don't care about my mother that chipped her teeth & is bleeding to make time to see her.

I went to Maricopa Family Dentistry, and had not had dental care for years. Everyone was very kind and quite understanding of my fear of dental work. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what I needed to have done. I left knowing this was my dental office !

I paid $20K in cash for my wife's permeant implants because I was told that she could choose how the implants would look. They never fit right and cause her pain. They also look nothing like the picture she gave the dentist. He told her right in front of me that he wouldn't make another appliance, and said she'd have to go to another dentist if she wanted them fixed. $20K and what I'll have to pay another dentistry to fix their mistakes is unacceptable.

I cannot say enough good things about this Dentist. I have been going to them for over a year now and they have taken the time to explain and help coach me through taking better care of my teeth and mouth as a whole and have strategized on the best treatment methods with some issues that arose with my mouth and teeth after having COVID. This team is kind, patient, caring and truly wants to help their patients get better. They have also worked hard to help me make treatments work with my budget. My teeth are probably the healthiest they have ever been and my smile also is the best it has ever looked. I am so impressed with these guys that I drive all the way from Chandler every 3 months. I don't do that for any other medical care! I also don't trust most other providers like I trust these guys. Thank you Dr. Ross and team for helping improve my life in such a profound way. Before going to you guys, I never realized how much my mouth health affected every other part of my life. Grateful for you guys!

I don't like to leave reviews because I know sometimes things can go wrong and especially with insurance involved. I worked in an optical office and know how complicated it can be. But I have had to talk to this office several times about bills I keep receiving in the mail after I was told my account was taken care of and I paid what insurance didn't cover. I have called my insurance and insurance has called them because my insurance company said they were not charging me the correct amount and/or that something was not billed correctly. I understand these things happen but have received different amounts due several times from the office. (They do have fees for everything so be aware of this when filling out your paperwork). It has been frustrating making several payments and being told your account is paid and then finding out there is another amount due. Just be careful what bills you get from them and double check with your insurance company before paying if you are unsure. After all of this hassle, I still have issues with the filling I got done but I don't want to go back to them and have to deal with this again. I gave them 2 stars because most of their staff seem nice

The Dental Assistant was super sweet and helpful. The doctor was straight forward with me and did not sugar coat anything. I appreciated his honesty and his help. Definitely going back!
