Dentistry has been a very fulfilling career for me. I am fortunate to have found a path in life that allows me to use my mind as well as my hands. I have a very strong artistic side and I feel that dentistry, in some ways, is an art form.

I love to solve problems and see the transformation that I can create, not only in terms of someones smile and overall comfort but also in their self-esteem. The best rewards of my profession come from the thank-you cards, drawings, and pieces of artwork that my little patients bring to me ... orwhen a formerly fearful child runs intothe office and is eager to see us. The fear is gone, and its amazing to feel responsible for that turnaround!

When I was going through my pediatric rotation indental school, it became quite apparent to me that this was the specialty for me. It was more the childrens response to me than my response to them that sealed the deal. Over the years, I have seen my profession turn into big business, and that does not always make me feel comfortable or proud. I never want to lose sight of what brought me to dentistry in the first place: the kids. As a practitioner, the connectionswith my patients are the most valuable and important.

I am passionate about creating lasting relationships with all of my patients and their families. The practice ethics and standards that I started with 28years ago have not changed. The only thingthatsdifferent isthe incorporation of modern dentistry in terms of materials and technology.

I never envisioned the advances we have today when I started practicing dentistry. I have always felt that learning never ends and I am committed to continue to educate myselfin order to provide the best services available for our patients.Even after two decades in private practice, I am still reminded every day how fortunate I am to have such a rewarding job.

I was born in Manila, the Philippines, and immigrated to the United States when I was nine years old. I grew up in Pittsburgh. I now live in Lititzwith my life partner, Dr. Lee Patalowski, and the love-of-my-life dog, Dolce, a Coton de Tulear. I am always eager to come home to her after a long day at the office.

When Im not doing dentistry, Im usually contemplating my next renovation/design project. I love looking atfabric swatches and paint samples and obsessing over design websites. I also love to cook and host dinner parties with friends. I love spending time in Naples, FL; the Gulf Coast region is my little piece of paradise. If Im not in Pennsylvania, youll find me there!

My patients call me 'Dr. Brad' and I am excited to be a part of M2! Prior to my dental career, I was a biology and mathematics teacher at a K-12 private school in Washington State. I loved my time working with kids and I draw on those experiences when teaching my patients about their oral health. I am dedicated to providing each child with the best possible care and experience.

I grew up in Olympia, Washington and I have other family members in the dental field. My father is a general dentist and my sister is also a pediatric dentist. When not working, I enjoy traveling with my fiance. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and my chihuahua, Zoey. I am an avid golfer and tennis player.

I am so excited to meet the patients at M2! My patients call me Dr. Sara'. I was raised in the suburbs of Northern Virginia. I attended Virginia Tech for my undergraduate training and obtained dual degrees in chemistry and flute performance. After college, I opened my own flute studio and taught children of all ages for five years.

I am a forever musician and continue to play the flute. I enjoy running, going to concerts and playing with my dog, Zoey, who has quite a following on Instagram! Follow her page at @zoey_the_phi_chi. I am so happy to call Lancaster home and I am enjoying the wonderful culinary scene here!

Since retiring from active dental practice several years ago due to medical issues, I have been devoting my time to my passion of sports dentistry. I actively lecture locally and nationally on the topic of sports-related dental injuries and theirprevention. I am a lifelong learner and eager to stay in the forefront ofallthe advances in the field of concussion prevention. I am honored to work with several local athletes and sports teams.

I continue to manage the Center for Sports Dentistry for the design and fabrication of custom-fitted sports mouthguardswe offer at a fraction of the average national price. I am also available to the patients of M2, local sports teams, and people in the community to advise them on the proper type and fit of mouthguards for their respective sports.

I love continuing education! I was one of the youngest to achieve the status of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Awardees must meet the highest criteria for professional excellence by taking 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the sixteen disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to practicing hands-on skills and techniques. To date, there are only 152 dentists in Pennsylvania to have earnedthis Mastership.
