I come from an extended family of dentists who love and respect what they do. It was only natural that I follow in my parents footsteps when choosing a career to help people. After graduating from UCLA with a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Art History, I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and have been practicing for more than 20 years.
I enjoy getting to know people by listening. Each patients teeth tell a story and it is often related to their physical and mental health. My priority is to teach the connection between your oral health as it relates to overall health. I take time with each patient to learn about your history and dental needs, so we can come up with a treatment plan thats tailored to you.

Dr. Kim has been my most reliable dentist for the past 15 plus years in Arcadia. I just had a root canal done today and I didn't even feel any major pain. Dr. Kim is the best there is! Thank you Dr. Kim and her team!

Maria and her team are very good! They take the time to understand your concerns and take the time to really take care of you. I used to have a huge fear of going to the dentist, but thanks to Maria, I now go regularly. They also have good protocols in place during covid. I feel safe going in to get my dental cleaning.

My first time visiting with Dr. Kim was completely comforting. Her office staff are delightful, helpful, and welcoming. I was a bit nervous and the demeanor and vibe of the entire office put me right at ease. Dr. Kim was genuinely concerned, attentive, thorough and articulate with my issue. Dr. Kim has been my dentist for quite a few years now. I always feel very well taken care of by her and her staff and she is always very concerned with making my visit as comfortable (i.e. pain-free) as possible. My wife also started seeing Dr. Kim a number of years ago and she, for once, agrees with me. We both highly recommend Dr. Maria Kim.
