Dr. Fernandez greatly values her profession. She has been in practice over 25 years. She finds serving the diverse community of Miami very rewarding. Dr. Fernandez is committed to providing her patients with excellent dental care.
Dr. Fernandez interests in dentistry began at an early age. She would spend many hours with her father in his dental practice. As a second-generation dentist, she obtain her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
By attending numerous continuous education lectures and seminars, Dr. Fernandez strives to enhance her training. This ongoing training allows her to provide her patients with the latest procedures, materials and technique available in dentistry.
Dr. Fernandez grew up in Downey, California. She has been a long time resident of Miami, FL. She participates in numerous community activities involving school programs related to dentistry. During her more than 25 year in practice, she has volunteered and continues to volunteer numerous hours with organizations providing dentistry to the underserved populations. Dr. Fernandez believes it is important to play an active role in the community. She is committed to providing her patients with healthy, beautiful smiles.

Been going to Dr. Fernandez since I was a child. She has always been the most amazing dentist!! She is kind, patient and always goes above and beyond. She recently saved me from a dental emergency the day before my baby shower (I chipped my front tooth and she made my smile picture perfect). I cannot recommend her enough!!

Dr. Fernadez is a great dentist! She is very thorough with her examination was very detailed in her assessment of my teeth. She truly cares about her patients. I am extremely pleased to finally find a dentist that cares about my dental health. Her prices are very fair. Her staff is kind and very knowledgeable.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Maria Cristina Fernandez and the rest of the team. I've had everything from cleanings to root canals done. The front office explained the costs in detail before and after each visit so there were no surprises financially, the place is extremely clean, and the dental work has been outstanding. Overall she is a fabulous Doctor. She explained everything she was doing and what I needed to do to keep up with my dental health. I would say that she definitely made me feel comfortable in my switch to a new dentist. I would recommend them to anyone else in my position or just looking for a new dentist. Overall wonderful service, staff, and most of all dentistry work. I will definitely return for all my other dental needs! It's exactly what a great dentist office should be. Highly recommend her! Thank you so much doctor!

I normally won't leave a bad review but these people are out to swindle you and make money off whatever they can. Beginning with the exorbitant fees they SHOULDN'T have charged me that were covered under my insurance. To boot, I called to get copies of my x-rays and they want to charge $50 FOR COPIES! This is what my new dentist is going to charge to do the x-rays all over again! These people are nothing but petty thieves. Some people may be able to afford it and some people just can't, regardless, shame on these folks for trying to make an extra dime off of hard-working folks!

One of my fillings fell out from years ago and she fixed it perfectly the very next day. Can tell she has a lot of experience. It has been 6 months since she filled my broken filling and it's still perfect. I am going back today for a cleaning/check up. Highly recommend.
