Dr. Margaret C. Madonian is a specialist in pediatric dentistry. This accreditation required two additional years of postgraduate dental education. Just like pediatricians specialize their medical practice, Dr. Madonian specializes her expertise in dental care for infants, children and teenagers. She is also the only practicing pediatric dentist in Liverpool, NY, that is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Madonian has been providing compassionate care in pediatric dentistry for more than 20 years. She has experience working with children with special needs and children who have a complex oral history. Dr. Madonian also works well with children who may be fearful or anxious about their visit.
Dr. Madonian attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Shortly after that, she went on to receive a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Madonian also received the Gold Fund Award for treating disadvantaged children and operating a highly-credentialed pediatric dentistry with memberships, positions and affiliations to various organizations.
Meet the dental team at Margaret Madonian, DDS. Nurturing, friendly, funny, experienced and compassionate, our team has specialized technical skills in pediatric dentistry. Our ultimate goal is to foster a healthy generation of young people who have a positive, life-long attitude toward dental care.
Kate was born and raised in Liverpool, NY. She graduated from Liverpool High School in 2000 and has a long history of working in child care. Kate completed the dental assisting program from BOCES and then continued on to earn her New York State Dental Assisting certificate. In 2007, Kate joined our team as a dental assistant and is now the surgical coordinator for our office.
Outside of the office, Kate spends her time with her daughter and her black lab named Krypto. She enjoys reading, drawing and attending the Sterling Renaissance Festival in the summer. Kate is also a super fan of super heroes, especially Wonder Woman.
Elizabeth is a local graduate of Cicero-Noth Syracuse High School. She earned her A.A.S. degree in Human Service then completed the dental assisting program at OCM BOCES. She loves working with children and believes that every child should have a positive dental experience.
Sheila has been in the dental field for more than 25 years, with most of that time working with Dr. Madonian. She earned her associates degree from Hudson Valley Community College and also attended SUNY Oswego. Sheila loves coming in to work every day to see the kids and their parents. Her friendly smile always makes going to the dentist a little less scary.
Sheila is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and dog, watching her boys play football and lacrosse. Sheila also volunteers and sits on the Board of Directors for the Fulton Athletic Booster Club.
Fran is experienced in many areas of the dental hygiene profession and has spent nearly a decade in pediatric dentistry with Dr. Madonian. She is a lifelong resident of the City of Syracuse and is a graduate of Onondaga Community College, Dental Hygiene School. Fran has also worked and lived in Switzerland.
Fran and her husband have enjoyed watching their four children grow into wonderful, successful young adults. In her spare time, her very favorite activity is taking long walks with her sweet dog, Maggie.
Tesha is a native of Liverpool, NY and a graduate of Liverpool High School. She has been in the dental field for almost 20 years working both as a dental assistant and front desk receptionist. She enjoys and looks forward to the children and families she meets and greets every day at the office. Tesha is outgoing, friendly and warm and will put a smile on your face when you are in the office.
Tracy has worked as a dental hygienist for nearly 25 years, with 18 of those years in pediatric dentistry with Dr. Madonian. Tracy grew up in Syracuse where she attended high school and college. She combines education, compassion and respect into each child's visit to create a safe and comfortable experience.

The dentist is good and efficient, but the rest of the staff are just phenomenal. Everytime I have to call to either schedule an appointment or pay a bill the people I've spoken with have been an absolute delight. And the hygienists are always very patient with my 5 year old. Great place all around.

My kiddo is on the spectrum and they really went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. They noted her triggers and let her bring her security toy into the actual procedure. There were several groups of parents in the waiting room, and we were all going on about how great they were with all of our kids. Highly suggest

Dr. Madonian and her staff are amazing. They are all friendly and very patient and kind. Both of my kids have special needs and the kids are very comfortable with the staff. I would recommend the office to anyone.

Staff are very friendly, patient and kind to my special needs son. I'm confident in Dr. Madonian's advice and treatment of some of my son's complicated dental issues ie teeth not coming in correctly or not losing baby teeth etc. The dental hygenists always make him feel comfortable and at ease in the chair.

FIRST OF ALL This is the greatest office with the greatest staff. My (former) trash dentist office referred us to Dr. Madonian for my 5-year-olds ONE cavity so it could be filled and they could use the nitrous gas. Our hygienist was super sweet and patient. Dr. Madonian was so kind and thorough and took all the time in the world to explain all of the intraoral pictures and xrays in full to me. Turns out, she had over 8 cavities, two of which may be touching a nerve and may have to be removed and spacers put in. We've taken her to Bville Family Dental every 6 months for 3 years and they never mentioned that my daughter severely grinds her teeth in her sleep (we had no idea) and that she has basically no enamel (hereditary). She recommended surgery ASAP to fix all of it at once before things get worse/a a nerve root gets infected. The earliest surgery slot was two months away, besides a last-minute cancellation that was two days away. Kate (secretary) and James (billing) scrambled around like angelic crazy people trying to get us a Covid test, a pre-op pediatrician appointment, and all of our dental and medical insurance estimates in just a few hours so we could have the surgery in less than 48 hours and not wait til December. They made the impossible possible with their kindness and diligence and it literally brought tears to my eyes. Never met these people until today and they all went above and beyond the call of duty to help me Needless to say, we are leaving our one-mile-away dentist office and will make the 20 minute drive to Dr. Madonians whenever needed.

Dr. Madonian and the office staff are great. I have three children and their visits are quick with out a long wait. My son has Sensory processing disorder, we had a horrible experience with a prior dentist and Doctor Madonian help my son be comfortable, working with his light and noise sensitivities. He went from being afraid to go to the dentist to loving our visits because of how kind and caring the Dr and her staff is.

Dr. Madonian's office is very parent and child friendly. Staff takes the time to explain things to parents, including billing, which is much appreciated! I have a child who can be a challenge at the dentist and Dr. Madonian and her staff are patient and kind. It means a lot we are remembered visit to visit and not just a number!

We started with Dr. Madonian after a very traumatic experience with another practice (many years ago). They have been understanding and respectful of the resulting issues from that trauma, and have worked with us to make every appointment tolerable if not enjoyable for the kids. We drive a distance to get there, and will continue to do so. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are!

Review on behalf of my wife Vanessa. We have two boys .. one with sensory specific Autism. Have struggled with dentists for the past 6 years. The staff at This office was absolutely amazing. Chase got through more of the exam than he has ever done before without any type of sedation. Also, our 6 year old ended up having a bad cavity in a tooth that just needed to be pulled. I was given a same day appointment.... worked into their schedule and she took care of it that day. Dr Madonian and all of her staff are top notch. My son was nervous , but Doc remembered that he loved snakes so during the procedure she tells him a story about a snake in her backyard... showed him a picture from her phone. This helped distract him. She is a true professional and you can tell she loves children and has tremendous patience. A special thank you to Kate .. who promptly returned my calls and coordinated care. She is a gem. Thank you to all of you!!!

All 4 of my children have been patients of Dr. Madonians and we have had nothing but exceptional care from the minute we walk in until we make our next appointment at check out. Dr. Madonian has bridged the care between their dental and orthodontic care seamlessly. The wait times are very reasonable which is saying something as the staff seem to spend as much time as they need to in order to make each patient feel comfortable and special. In truth, I'm having a hard time getting my college age kids to transition out of the pediatric chairs...and they don't seem embarrassed about it at all. THANK YOU Dr. Madonian and staff for doing what you do!

I've been going to Dr. Madonian for 20+ years and she is just incredible at what she does! She is extremely kind, patient, & smart and she truly takes care of her patients. Overall such an amazing woman that provides amazing dental work!!
