A 2000 licensed graduate of Loma Linda Dentistry School, Marcel Bougher has been practicing for the past ten years. He specializes in general dentisty. He utilizes the latest techniques in teeth whitening.
Dr. Bougher grew up in San Diego and married his high school sweetheart, Blessie after graduating from dental school in 2002. Together they have three children: Caleb, Taylor, and Chase; born respectively in 2006, 2011, and 2015. Marcel and Blessie are huge Lego fans as witnessed by the Lego models he keeps in the office.
Emily was born and raised in San Diego. She went to dental hygiene school at Southwestern College and graduated in 2016. Emily has worked for Dr. Bougher since 2019. In her free time she enjoys hiking and adventuring with her husband and 3 sons.
Alyssa graduated from dental assisting in 2019 from Concorde Career College & has been working for Dr. Bougher ever since. Her hobbies include spending time with family & exploring locally with her boyfriend.
Colleen has been in the dental field for 25 years. In addition to running the front office she also is a registered dental assistant. She has worked for Dr. Bougher for 8 years handling insurance and is the office manager. Previously she ran an orthodontic office for 11 years. Colleen's favorite thing to do is spend time with her son & husband of 17 years.

This is an amazing group. I have been let down hard in the past by other dentists but all of that is being erased here at Marcel Bougher Dentistry D.D.S. I'm so thankful for their professionalism.

Dr. Bougher is very friendly, upbeat, caring and warm and has a great sense of humor. He is also a wonderful dentist. The staff is very happy which reflects on the overall attitude of the assistant, hygenist and office manager, and of course at the top, the doctor. Dr. Bougher does not tell you that you need procedures you do not need. When you do need something done, he informs you. If you ask questions, he is very thorough in explaining the answers to you.

My family and I always appreciate the service and care we receive from Dr. Bougher and his staff. Our kids (aged 5 and 10) actually look forward to their check-ups. If that doesn't make life easier, I don't know what does.

Have been going to Dr Bougher for several years now and can actually say I look forward to visiting the dentist's office! Dr Bougher and his staff are so friendly, caring, professional and courteous. I have received nothing but great care. They do everything possible to make visits a positive experience. I moved some distance away but still make the drive to La Mesa as I am so pleased with Dr Bougher and his entire staff.
