Dr. Allen has been providing advanced orthodontic carein the Charlotte area since 1999. He specializes in Invisalign and Teen Invisalign, as well as child, teen and adult orthodontics in a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere.
Marc Allen Orthodontics has chosen to purchase supplies and peripherals necessary to operate from fellow green businesses to the best of our ability. All of our drinking cups are sourced from a reputable eco-friendly business. We decreased our usage of paper towels/napkins by 75% with the installation of hand dryers in our patient bathroom. The office in general is a paperless office, marked by digital xrays and the use of ipads for all interactions amongst staff and patients.
Steam sterilization is used en toto to ensure the safety of our patients and team and to recognize the toxicity associated with cold sterile liquids. Our liquid cleaning supplies are 98% naturally derived. For hard surface management along with various other demands, we have chosen OPTIM 33.
Green reusable pouches are used to store and sterilize all specialty appliances and instruments. We have eliminated all use of paper and plastic barriers in favor of a spray/wipe/spray method using OPTIM 33. This technique eliminated nearly 200 barriers a day.

Dr. Allen is the best Orthodontist in the surrounding areas. His eye for detail makes his work amazing. My smile is better than amazing and so is his work. He's perfected my son's smile and now mine. I would recommend him to anyone at any age! And his team is amazing as well!!

I currently have 2 children being treated by Dr. Allen. My younger one is very apprehensive when it comes to any dental/orthodontic work , and I know he can be a challenge as a patient. As a mom I do feel for my son, but also understand how difficult it must be for the professional treating him. Dr. Allen has been nothing but over the top in compassion, empathy, education, humor, and care when treating Cam! He has gone out of his way to accommodate and quiet his fears while still providing TOP NOTCH orthodontics every time. We drive over 45 minutes to the practice because we knew already the expertise in orthodontics that Dr. Allen provides. I was happy to make the drive knowing my kids are going to have an optimal outcome physically. What I did not know that Dr. Allen's exceptional skill also reflected in his concern in the emotional well being of his patients. Thank you Dr. Allen and your entire team for all you do for our family. I am happy to report that Cam is now telling all of his teammates what a great day he had at the orthodontist in spite of his initial fears, and how cool his doctor is!

Dr Allen is a wonderful man and a great Orthodontics. The office is run so efficiently. the atmosphere is wonderful, he plays great music for every age and there is great energy in there. All of his staff are very friendly and kind. I always look forward to my next visit. I would not go any other Orthodontist here, he is the best!

Where do I start with this group of amazing people. From the start it's been nothing but perfect. From the financial planning to the dental work itself. We need a Dr Allen and. Ms Morgan in every single orthodontic office in this world. Dr Allen is always willing to answer questions big or small, painless and very precise work. It's amazing what this guy can do. All his assistants are amazing and down to earth. I always get excited to visit the office and see everyone. I've covered my smile my whole life due to being bullied but thanks to these guys I don't have too Thank you so much for working on my smile. You guys are THE BEST!

We've lived here a few years and I can personally say Marc Allen lives up to his reputation as the best orthodontist. He's been taking care of my husband's teeth and has gone above and beyond to make his smile a work of art. Everyone in the office is kind and during the consultation I never felt rushed or pressured. I'm so excited to get myself straight too!

Couldn't be any happier with MAO! I had braces for 2.5 years in middle school but during college, I started grinding my teeth which broke my top retainer. Dr. Allen was able to not only fix my permanent retainer but also move my teeth back to their rightful place all in less than a day! Thank you:)

Not only is Marc a great orthodontist but he is a perfectionist and really makes sure your teeth look good. He's also a cool guy to chat with and you can tell he really wants to make you look good.

Dr. Allen a total rock star when it comes to beauty! He knows how important a smile is and the benefits it has on our lives. He's taken 3 jacked up mouths with crooked teeth, bent gum lines and protruding teeth and made us beautiful! We couldn't be happier. He's brilliant and works so hard making smiles good again. Every young family I meet I brag about him and the fabulous work he's done on me and my kids. Highly highly recommend him for any ortho work. He's so meticulous and he CARES! he really does! The office it so clean, fresh and vibrant it's really a great place. The staff is awesome. From the two receptionist that greet you, who are absolutely adorable to Rhonda who knows her sh..! to his most gorgeous wife who works side by side with Dr. Allen. What a great and welcoming business and his work is just beyond and I have the smile to prove it.

After experiencing several years with migraine headaches and TMJ, my provider suggested I go see an Orthodontist and referred me to Dr. Allen. The day of my consultation, walking into the office was one of the best first impressions I have ever experienced. Not only was I greeted with friendly smiles, I was in awe at the decor of the office. After being escorted into the consultation area, I finally had the opportunity to meet the "Great Dr. Allen." Charming and very informative was Dr. Allen, carefully explaining a treatment plan to help correct my alignment, migraine and TMJ issues. Long story short, after getting my braces, in less than a week my migraines stop. It has been over a year that I could sleep without waking up to a migraine headache. I still have a long way to go, but without the help of Dr. Allen I would still be experiencing massive headaches and discomfort. The staff is AMAZING!!!! I thank you all for everything!!!!!!!

Dr. Allen and all the staff at Marc Allen Orthodontics are amazing! They have gone above and beyond my expectations; there is no place I would rather go to make a beautiful smile. My brother, sister, and I have all gone to Dr. Allen. We all agree that he is excellent at what he does; I feel that paying attention to details and his personality are his greatest strengths. Most people, myself included, don't find trips to the orthodontist enjoyable but the team at Marc Allen Orthodontics made it seamless and smooth.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. They did a terrific job on explaining everything during the entire process of getting the braces put on. Dr. Allen spend a lot of time with us during the initial consult which was nice to see, we didn't feel rushed. Overall great experience.

After being referred to another orthodontist and treating with that orthodontist personally, I knew when the time came for my children to treat with an orthodontist it would ONLY be Dr. Allen after observing results. Once we met with Dr. Allen for my oldest child, I then decided I would go back into braces and get fixed, what the first orthodontist never could do. Dr. Allen has now treated myself and both of my children. He is meticulous and passionate about teeth and ensures that he provides the best level of care for each patient based upon their needs. There is nothing cookie cutter about what Dr. Allen does. He does not treat based upon "one size fits all" like so many dentist and orthodontist do. Our family can't say enough about his level of care for each of us and the end results. If you want beautiful teeth, Dr. Allen is the best.

Both of my kids have gotten braces and Marc and staff have been great the whole way. He takes a personal interest in the kids activities and remembers to ask about their activities Everytime we visit.
