Here at Marble City Pediatric Dentistry, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentists office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth. Our goal is to protect your childrens teeth so they can eat and speak correctly. We will do whatever we can to help your children have the bright smiles they deserve.
Dr. Jonathan Curtis grew up in north Alabama and came to Birmingham in 1992 to attend Birmingham-Southern College. He graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor in Science and progressed on to the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Public Health. Dr. Curtis graduated from the UAB SOPH in 1998 with a Masters in Public Health. Dr. Curtis spent the next year pursuing his Firefighter I certificate, which he received in May of 1999, along with his EMT-Basic license. In the fall of 1999, Dr. Curtis began his dental training at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He graduated with his D.M.D. in 2003 and moved to New York City to pursue his certificate in pediatric dentistry at Schneider Childrens Hospital of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
In this tertiary hospital, Dr. Curtis participated in the treatment of both well and sick children and children with special needs, both in a clinical and an operating room setting. After completion of his residency, Dr. Curtis moved back here to North Shelby County to begin private practice.

They were really great with my autistic son!! His previous dentist office upset him so bad that he throw up the last time he was there. Dr Curtis and his staff knew that there were gonna be limitations on what they were going to be able to do with him. They were calm and didnt try to force him to do anything. It took several minutes but they were able to look at his teeth for a moment (no cavities) but I'm sure his next appointment he will do better with them because they didn't upset or scare him!

My child likes going there but rescheduling is a pain. Literally have to be rescheduled for 4 months out. Unfortunately I'll have to find another place. I would definitely give them a try besides having issues with that I still recommend them.

We are so thankful that we found Marble City Pediatric Dentistry. First and foremost these guys are all about kids. They make the office visit fun and entertaining. As a grandparent I need my granddaughters to have a relaxing experience at the dentist and at the same time they are educated on good hygiene. Win win! The office staff being on point with safe practice check in. I felt real comfortable with every stage of our appointment. I would with confidence recommend Marble City Pediatric Dentistry.

Nice Dentists and some good work but they drilled a bit of my tounge and I couldn't chew anything on the right side of my mouth for 2 weeks cause it would hurt so bad
