Infection Control Procedures ensure your safety, and all procedures at our office exceed even the most stringent guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA).
All instruments and hand pieces are autoclave steam sterilized after every use and disposable items are utilized wherever appropriate. Patients and staff wear protective safety glasses during treatment. Disposable gloves are worn while treating patients and are never used on more than one patient. Staff members wear masks during the procedures to protect our patients.
All areas that are touched during the procedures are covered with a plastic wrap and changed after each patient so as to eliminate the potential of cross contamination. All surfaces, chairs, lights and units are thoroughly disinfected with a chemical solution formulated to kill infectious bacteria, spores, and viruses before and after every patient use.
At Maplewood Dental, our team members undergo extensive training in sterilization procedures and participate in continuing education courses to keep up-to-date on the most advanced techniques in the industry.

I am so impressed each time I visit Dr.Osborne and her team. They are so skilled, friendly, helpful, caring and put me at ease. I have been seeing Dr. Osborne for 6 years and I am so thankful for the care they have provided me. They listen to your concerns and work together so well to achieve the work needed. The front end reception, billing and insurance staff are so efficient as well. The best dentist I have ever worked with.

New patient today and was in for a check up and cleaning. The entire staff was amazing, Chris was great getting the X-rays and Dr. Copps was fantastic and finally Kris did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. I think I actually dozed off for a minute when she was cleaning my teeth. They have a great office and I will be back.

Everyone from the front desk to the hygienist to Dr Osborn was so kind and welcoming. They really worked so well with my 3 year old and got down to her level to make her experience fun and exciting from the moment she got in the chair. Such a great experience!

I have not been to a dentist in many many years, I had heard nothing but good things about Maplewood so I schedule a new patient visit. On the day of my appointment, I was greated and checked in, I did not get her name but she was very nice and professional, then taken back by Chris to get pictures taken of my teeth which was explained to me on how the process will go. Then Dr. Copps came in and examined my teeth and gave me great news, not a single cavity and the few concerns that I had and they could be taken care of. My hygienist, Elle, was amazing! She explained what she was taking a look for and the cleaning she was going to do. Every step of the way she checked to make sure I was doing ok and no pain. She got me scheduled for my check up as well. I then got checked out by another amazing receptionist. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Maplewood Dental, they made my dislike for the dentist a game changer and I actually am looking forward to seeing them again for my follow up appointment!!!

Update: I had to get a filling, and the process is so different than it was 30 years ago! I pay for the laughing gas every time because of my anxiety. Numbing agent was applied before the Novocaine shots, and there were only 2 shots! No smell of smoke. Dr. Osborn was so gentle and thorough. Sarah, her assistant, made sure I was comfortable. The porcelain filling is hardened by the time you leave the chair, and the numbness is just a localized discomfort. I was able to have breakfast and coffee after with minimal spillage. Go! Take care of your teeth, and get it done at Maplewood Dental! Absolutely amazing! I hadn't been to the dentist since 1990. I was terrified of the dentist, and I deal with clinical anxiety, panic, and PTSD. I cannot overstate how accommodating and caring they were. No shame. Helpful and attentive with my panic issues. Fantastic!

They had a very underqualified dental hygienist who damaged my gums. Be very careful with who they assign you and don't be scared to ask for someone you are comfortable with. They are kinda expensive so you better get your money's worth.
