Not at all pleased with dentists approach to kiddos. We also have had billing issues as well as appointment problems too many times.

I have read all the negative reviews and only find one to be true. There WAS an employee that came off as rude (at least to me) and she has been gone for months. Everyone else I have delt with over the last 3 or 4 years is an absolute delight. One review complained about hygienists quiting. I am quite sure their hygienists are not standard employees so that is easy enough to check but I have consistently had pleasant experiences with cleanings. And the doctor is quite competent, I left once because of the employee that was rude but that only lasted for one appointment and I was back and have stayed. I am moving to the Camas area but will be commuting to Hillsboro for dentist appointments.

Receptionist named Cindy behaves really weird and perhaps incompetent. She lies about available dates. She'll say the next available cleaning appoitment date is so-so date or in 5-6 months away. Call back few minutes or hours later, her answer differs. I was informed by an employee of this clinic of them being short-stafffed for years. Their appoittment-calendar seems to be open only few weeks at a time. I feel like they may have high turnovers of employees because whenever I ask for my previous Hygienist or receptionist, they have already quit. Unfortunately, it's so difficult to get appointments and whoever picks up the phone nowadays keep putting calls on hold for a long period of time, clerk often very rude and not confident at all what she's doing. Dr Ronald Maple's wife also works in this clinic as a receptionist. She's normally the one who cancels and re-schedules appointments that were incorrectly set up by another employee. Dr Ronald Maple is a friendly guy, and I believe one that is competent in what he does. I cannot say the same thing about his employees. It's rather annoying to deal with employees behaving appallingly just to get out of helping people in making appointments.

When I first visited Dr. Maple my mouth was a disaster area. Another dentist said the crumbling remains of my rotten teeth should be pulled and that I should get dentures. But Dr. Maples rolled up his sleeves and got to work. All through Covid, hidden behind my mask, my teeth underwent a miraculous repair job. Slow and steady wins the race. I am now proud to show the world my pearly whites. The cliches are all true. A healthy smile is a life changer. It Literally changed my life from miserable to wonderful. Thank you very much Dr. Maple and wonderful, fun staff for giving me a real reason to smile!

Excellent and extremely professional staff. I appreciate the thoroughness of my dental hygienist Ms Burns, she is very detail oriented, friendly, and takes the time to answer all your questions. I have had nothing but good experiences here with Dr. Maple. They also have so many reminders for your appointments- calls and emails which has been helpful, so no excuses for missed appointments :) Hope to continue working with them for years to come.

I have had the most professional and caring service by Dr Maple and staff. Have always had multiple notices before appointments and careful followup to all completed procedures. Bi-annual visits are the norm these days and there's some insurance companies that reject the cost of the exam or cleaning. But the cost seems reasonable for the second visit.

BEWARE - they have Missed Appointment fees and late payment charges. Their receptionists are unfriendly & rude (in my opinion). If you are 10 mins late for your appt - they will NOT take you in. even if it is a legitimate holdup in traffic and they will charge you a missed appt fee ($50). They take no accountability for sending reminders to incorrect phone#s despite corrections requested. It is your responsibility to take and keep appointments, is their response. I wish i could charge them for having to go there twice for fixing bad fillings or bad night-guard fits - they will find a way to blame it back on you with no apologies for the inconvenience. STAY AWAY! The only good thing about this office is that their hygienists are friendly and good! Response to Owner's response: I have NEVER missed an appointment with any of my other docs and am very particular about keeping my appointments. ALL Late appointments are immediately billed with a late fee at Dr Maple's office. Today i was made to pay $101 for 2 missed appointments that i don't even remember booking!

Dr. Maple's team worked an extra measure to ensure a cryptic dental code was honored by my insurance company. While they took payment up front, they immediately refunded the service cost when the insurance covered it--all without me having to hound them.

I was an old patient here coming for past few years. The intel offered delta insurance only covers 1 exam per year and the staff and doctor are very well aware of it. But they always try to do second exam during the second cleaning appointment of the year and then charge patients without letting the patient know that it will be charged to patient and not covered by insurance when patient is there in the clinic for cleaning appointment. The doctor will come to your room during regular cleaning appointment and do the exam without letting the patient know that there will be a charges for exam which will not be covered by the insurance. after 2 week i received a bill for exam which i did not schedule, When i called and asked Lori(Front Desk) that why she did not inform me that there will be a charges for an exam that i will required to pay, she started telling stories that its recommended that we do 2 exams and blah blah blah.. i asked her, why at the time of service you did not inform patient that its recommended but not covered by my insurance and patient will required to pay charges.. she did not have any answer for that... It feel that i got robbed after this incident and none of my family member will ever go to this location... Be careful guys..
