Dr. John Kenzie earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1977. Graduating near the top of his class, he was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the American Association of Endodontists. In 1998, Dr. Kenzie earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.

As a former owner of dental offices in Algonac and Marysville, MI, Dr. John Kenzie has served as the past president of the Thumb District Dental Society and St. Peters Church in St Clair. He and his wife of 35 years, Elaine, have two children Jessica, a landscape architect, and Jeff, a geological engineer. Dr. Kenzie is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting with his dog, Bruno, all types of fishing, biking, skiing, boating, golf, tennis, and reading.

I first began visiting Northern Michigan in 1969 and fell in love. I am very excited to be able to now live locally and have this opportunity to share my knowledge and clinical skills with all of the members of the Maple Ridge Dentistry family. Lifelong learning and a desire to do my best have led me to develop a passion for dentistry and help my patients achieve optimal dental health in a professional, friendly atmosphere. I am looking forward to meeting all of you, as well as new guests, and 'settling in' for many years of achieving our common dental health goals!
