Dr. Gwen Ngo has been serving the local community for over 17 years. She first opened an office in Silver Spring which is still in operation today and later expanded to Maple Lawn as the first tenant in the Midtown Medical Building. She has seen and experienced the many changes and trends in the dental profession from an emphasis in cosmetic dentistry to full mouth reconstruction. However, as she states, 'trends have ebbs and flows, however, most patients consistently want to have teeth that are pain-free and will not cost them discretionary savings to keep it that way'. Thus, her treatment planning with every patient is to identify problems and more importantly, potential problems. 'We focus on proper preventive care, cavities treatment, healthy gums, identifying infections and eradicating them, and any other concerns that may pose a problem to my patient'. Her approach to every patient is proper communication and understanding their desires. These aspects are in conjunction with coordinated insurance coverage so that every patient has their benefits maximized without incurring unexpected expenses.
Dr. Gwen Ngo graduatedfrom the University of Maryland Dental School in 2000. She was one of a select few that had a perfect clinical score in board licensing examinations. She has remained committed throughout her professionin providing services to financially qualifying children. In her free time she enjoys gardening, lounging on a couch with her laptop, and listening to the daily escapades of her son.
