An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

just recently switched my dentist and this is far beyond the best place i went to for getting my tooth fixed and clean. the two lady's at the desk and the 3 lady's that helped clean my teeth are the kindest and most caring people ever. no exaggeration i very much recommend them you won't be disappointed.

Do NOT go here! When I first moved to MN in 2015 I started going to MG Smiles because they were the only ones who accepted my out of state insurance. I loved them and had no issues. Fast forward to my first post COVID appointment and I can say without a doubt I have never encountered such practices. I went in for a normal exam, as a side note I do brush my teeth twice a day and admittedly am not the best flosser however compared to most have generally good hygiene practices. Given I hadn't been there for at least two years I expected something like a cavity, instead what I was told was I had atrocious gum health(with 7's and 6's) and if I didn't treat immediately it could affect my pregnancy. They gave me a $1100 quote for the services. This was after making me wait over 45 minutes from my scheduled appt. Concerned because of the price and the severity of the issues they claimed I had I called a couple dentists and was met with shock given my age/the treatment they were recommending, but most importantly the price of the services. I rescheduled an appointment with my MIL's dentist, got in today only to find out, I have absolutely no issues with my teeth except needing the general cleaning, walked out without paying a penny and was told the fact Maple Grove Smiles tried to use my pregnancy as a way to scare me into a up-charged service that wasn't needed was something of a larger concern considering what a large client base they serve. To each their own, as I said before COVID I really had no problems, but with the new staff, the prices, and their clear use of I'll practices I would just recommend to double check your services are needed or are being charged at an appropriate response before handing over any money.

I had two crowns placed last year and was told I needed a third on my other side. The crowns that were done never felt completely right. Today I went to a different dentist and was told that both crowns place last year would need to be replaced and that in fact do not need another crown as they said on the other side. I am frustrated. Because of the crowns being so newly placed a year ago, my insurance will not pay anything for these replacement crowns. All will be out of pocket. This place seems poorly run and disorganized. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I used this place one time and won't be going back. I went in for a routine check up/cleaning. The dentist was not gentle what so ever. It was probably the most painful dentist appointment I've ever had. Tears streaming down my face the entire time it was so painful. This further validated my fear of going to the dentist. I was told I needed a deep clean and a laser treatment for mild periodontis. They were very pushy about it. They gave me an estimate and I paid around $150 (with insurance) for these things. A month later I get another bill in the mail for $75. Come to find out that they said the EXACT same things to my husband who tried to use them too. Almost like they had script they were following to sell unnecessary services.

Not sure where to even start , just know I'm terrified of going to the dentist in fact I haven't been to one in awhile. I want to give a major shout out to the staff at Maple Grove Smiles Dentistry, I mean the whole staff made me feel good and comfortable while there. They assure me that they had me and I was in good hands. They was patient with me and I loved that in fact they can't get rid of me now. I have my whole family with MGS, so if you're looking for a dentist and a FANTASTIC TEAM , I recommend this dentistry. Glad I found them.

I've been a patient at Maple Groves Smiles for nearly three years. From the first time I walked through the door to my most recent visit, Dr. Mittal and her staff have treated me like part of the family. The cleanings are very through and efficient. I also have whitening treatments here every few months, which actually work! This service comes with customized at-home whitening trays and vials of gel, so I can conveniently maintain my pearly whites on my own. MGS is also very affordable, and I believe they have finance options, too. You won't be disappointed!

Just a heads up to those reading reviews. I am not aware of a dr. Eulberg that works here anymore. I paid 159 dollars for X-rays, cleaning, fluoride, and filling 2 cavities. I worked with Dr. Shalini Mittal, DDS. I also worked with a hygienist named Ester she was great. I havent been to the dentist in a long time and they did not give me any shame about it. While the cavities were uncomfortable at times I was not in any real pain. The whole cleaning was over in 15 minutes. It seems like their team is vaccinated as well. The current 3.5 stars does not accurately evaluate the current status of this office. I would suggest looking at recent reviews. To the admin staff at the office...I Have done digital marketing in the past. I would suggest publicly replying to the old comments in some manner you see fit. Perhaps they will give you a better rating. I hope the staff continues in maple grove because this was the best dentist experience I have had ever. Good luck and see you for my next visit.

My daughter had her 2nd root canal done today. As you would think, she was very nervous about this and the people at Maple Grove Smiles were so wonderful with her making sure she was understanding what they were doing and making sure she was ok. The procedure went quick and that is all due to the wonderful staff and her fabulous dentist. I cant thank you guys enough! If anyone is looking for a great dentist's office this is a perfect place to start and you will not need to go anywhere else!

I loved coming to this place! the experienced I had at this clinic exceeded my expectations. Those negative reviews are probably from Kens and Karens. By the way the only Dentist there is Dr. Mittal, and she is an awesome dentist, she is very nice, patient, and made my anxiety go away like no dentist has ever done. The whole process was great, the assistant ester was gentle when taking X-rays, and Melissa was amazing at explaining what the dentist was going to do. The whole team is awesome! I recommended 1000%.

My husband had an appointment with Dr Unger today. I dont think there are enough words to describe how awesome all of the staff are! Everyone was so nice, accommodating, and just over all awesome! The office manager goes above and beyond to make sure clients are well taken care of. Dr Unger talked to us on "our level" instead of using huge words that no one understands. My husband being a veteran requires some special care and no one batted an eye making sure he was comfortable and taken care of, no matter what it took. I also had our son with us who is on the autism spectrum and they were all SO amazing with him. Everyone just had so much kindness and patience working with our family to make sure my husband got the best care possible! Thank you to all the amazing staff! We will definitely be returning!

This was my first visit to Maple Grove Smiles Dentistry. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Each staff member was very patient and guided me throughout each step. I had a dental emergency that occurred at 5pm at night and they were able to get me in right away. This was my first time going to Smiles Dentistry and I have nothing but good things to say about them! They stayed extra late to make sure I was taken care of and explained the whole procedure(s) in a way I was able to understand. They were very personable and accommodated to my needs.

Dr. Mittal made a spot for me late in the day when my crown suddenly came off. I wasn't even a current patient. Everything was carefully explained to me prior to being done. I felt very cared for and put at ease. All the staff were tremendous. I will now be a regular patient at this dental office!

I was anxious to come to the dentist because I haven't been seen since I moved to MN in 2016. Dr. Mittal and her team helped relieve my anxiety every step of the way. Dr. Mittal personally took my x-rays, answering all my questions, no matter how many there were. Shannon, the hygienist, did my cleaning. She was very gentle and professional. I am happy to be returning for my night guard. I highly recommend this practice if you're looking to start, or re-start, your dental care.

Worst place on the planet!! Messed up my husbands tooth, when called about it, only wanted to charge more for the dentists failure. The root canal and build up and crown were done so poorly that it left him in pain and the tooth had to be pulled by the next dentist, 2 weeks later. Former manger said she would refund the 826 paid, she never did. Now Doug Sharpe the accounts manager is just rude and says he won't handle what the other manager did and will be nasty to the core and hang up on you! If you want extremely bad dentistry and extremely bad managers then this is the place for you. If you want dentistry done right and customer service that cares RUN to a different dentist!! This place is driven by money, not the well-being of the client.

I had two wisdom teeth on the top that needed to go, I was super nervous because I never been put to sleep before but the staff was great at making me feel comfortable, they really treat everyone like family and this is a great place for dental concerns of any kind, can't say enough about my experience with them wow it has always been great since the day I took my care there!
