We have enjoyed living and practicing in this great community of Maple Grove, and we believe that this has been vital to our continued growth and success. We believe that as healthcare professionals, we all strive to provide the highest level of care using not only the latest but the most suitable materials and technologies available to us. But it is how we deliver our care to our patients that really makes us stand out. The old adage of 'bedside manner' or in our case 'chairside manner' can 't always be taught or purchased, and I believe we possess this to cultivate the ever so important relationship between us and our patients.

Dr. Grinde was born and raised in the Twin Cities and graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School. He received his B.A. degree in Chemistry from Augsburg College. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota and started Maple Grove Family Dental Clinic in 1985. Dr Grinde is a 23 year member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Minneapolis District Dental Society. He is married with 3 children and has lived in Maple Grove for the past 23 years. All 3 children graduated from Maple Grove Senior High and went on to complete a college education. Dr. Grinde has been involved with and supported youth sports, high school sports, Miss Maple Grove candidates, and the Pacer organization over the years. He enjoys fishing, hunting, biking, skiing, and boating with his family.

Dr. Chang graduated with Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota with an award for Outstanding Achievement in Operative Dentistry from the Academy of Operative Dentistry. Dr. Chang is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Minneapolis District Dental Society. Dr. Chang has been with Maple Grove Family since 2000. He is married with three children and has lived in Maple Grove for the last 10 years until a recent move a couple miles away to Plymouth. He is active in the Twenty First Century Study Club which brings in nationally and internationally recognized speakers monthly for continuing education. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, running, working out, skiing and watching his kids participate in all their activities.

Dr. Erickson grew up in Fargo, ND and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. degree in Biology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Minnesota Dental Association. Dr. Erickson is married with one daughter and a son on the way. His professional interests include prosthetic dentistry, implant dentistry and comprehensive care. He enjoys being outside fishing or hunting, woodworking and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Huot graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. He then moved on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota. He is married and has two sons. Dr. Huot feels that Dentistry is one of those professions where compassion is a mandatory quality and he strives to meet that for all of his patients. The opportunity to build relationships is really what he loves most about dentistry.

In his free time, you will often find him fly fishing in midwestern trout streams. Namely, the Kinnikinnick River in his old stomping grounds of River Falls, WI. He enjoys tying his own fly fishing lures, getting outside and enjoying nature.

Susie grew up in River Falls, WI. Graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She has been with Maple Grove Family Dental Clinic for 32 years and has always felt very proud to be a part of this practice. Susie and her husband have two grown daughters. Their oldest is married and is a 4th grade teacher with the Anoka Hennepin School District. Their younger daughter is a RN at Mercy Hospital.

Patti grew up in Brooklyn Center. Graduated from Normandale College in 1985 as a Dental Assistant. Returned to Normandale for Dental Hygiene graduated in 1989. Patti has been at MGFDC for 20 years. She and her husband have one son and live in Eden Prairie.

Julie is a registered dental hygienist and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of MN in 1995. She has been a team member with Maple Grove Family Dental Clinic for over 12 years.

Julia graduated from Argosy University and received her License in Dental Hygiene in 2003. Her dental career began as a dental assistant in 1996. Julia's love for the dental field inspired her to return to school for dental hygiene.

Sarah received her A.A. degree in General Education and A.S. degree in Criminal Justice from North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, MN. She received her A.A.S. in both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene from Herzing University in Crystal, MN. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University in Mankato. She is currently a full-time hygienist at MGFDC and teaches part-time at Herzing University as part of their dental hygiene faculty. She has enjoyed living and working in Maple Grove for over ten years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, two cats and dog, Bella.
