Dr. Russ Jensen serves patients in Boise, Meridian and the surrounding Treasure Valley. He is a caring and sincere dentist who always puts his patients first. Your oral health and happiness with your smile is his primary concern. Dr. Jensens down-to-earth personality and strong ethical character ensures you will have an amazing experience.
While out of the office, when not taking continuing education courses that will help him earn a fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Jensen enjoys spending time with his family. Whether it be trips to the zoo, hikes in the woods or playtime at the park Dr. Jensen likes to find fun activities that his whole family can enjoy. Dr. Jensen also enjoys photography, cycling, cooking, and skiing.
Dr. Jensen graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where he received training in all aspects of general dentistry including tooth-colored restorations, crowns and veneers, infection and disease control, and tooth replacement. He sought out additional training in performing root canals, implants and cosmetic dentistry beyond the requirements for graduation. Following graduation, Dr. Jensen practiced in Great Falls, Montana where he treated many of the underserved in the area.
Dr. Jensen is always looking for ways to improve the treatment and experience his patients receive. As a result, he continues to take continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry and sedation dentistry. Dr. Russ Jensen tries to complete 200 hours of continuing education every year.
Two of my favorite shopping experiences involve Costco and Amazon. What separates these retailers from others are their membership perks. Being a Costco member allows you to get discounts on all types of food and household items. Amazon Prime members enjoy 2-day shipping and a variety of other digital media programs. Memberships for these retailers provide certain benefits that would otherwise cost extra or not be available.
When I opened my dental practice I wanted to bring this membership concept to dentistry. At the end of 2014, it was reported that 205 million or 64 percent of the US population has dental insurance. This means that there are still 115 million people without dental insurance! This is a staggering number and I do not want the lack of dental insurance to keep people from receiving dental care.
It is not uncommon for patients who are new to our office, that has taken a break from the dentist for a while, to say the lack of dental insurance was the reason behind their hiatus. Looking for a solution to this problem Maple Grove Dentistry developed our own In-Office Membership plan.
In addition to routine care, should our members need any dental work the membership plan provides discounts on dental services that allow you to save money. If you end up with a toothache in between your scheduled hygiene visits you can schedule an exam at no additional cost.

The staff is always helpful with costs and insurance coverage. My hygienist, Lecia, is a delight, and takes the time and effort needed to do thorough cleaning. Doctor Jensen is very personable and gives alternatives for treatment. I am pleased with their care and service. I would refer them to anyone that is in need of dental care. I am extremely pleased with Dr Jensen and his staff. He is very skilled with Implants. Mine came out gorgeous.

I can't speak any higher of Dr. Jensen, Lecia, and the entire Maple Grove Dentistry team! Everyone I have interacted with has been so friendly, they greet me by name every time I walk in, have never made me feel ashamed or embarrassed for the state of my teeth, and always provide explanations and peace of mind for any questions or concerns I have. I've never had a positive experience at the dentist until now; I truly appreciate the lengths they go to make sure their patients are comfortable.

I went to Maple Grove dentistry for the first time in July/Aug 2022. We've only lived in ID for 2 yrs and hadn't chosen a dentist due to COVID. It'd been over 5 yrs since I'd been to the dentist but they didn't judge me at all. All the staff are kind and informational. I think we've found our new dentist!

I love Maple Grove Dentistry. For the first time in my life I don't hate going to the dentist. They have a friendly kind staff who are super responsive, great with my kids, and not a ton of turn over so most of the faces are familiar. On top of that they have a nice clean facility with TV's everywhere so you don't have to fight boredom as you sort through a pile of old magazines. Stop hating the dentist and make your dental health something you look forward to.

Had them do 2 veneer crowns not even a year ago and one is already coming loose , went int few months later for them to cement another veneer that was done by a dentist off eagle 7years prior they said they wouldn't bill me since I was gonna coming and get a implant and couple more veneers and they lied and still billed me when to a different dentist come to find-out the veneer crown they did that's loos was just a quick buck for them the tooth should have been taken out an an implant should have been done , careful they are money hungry get a second look before you have them do work and you waste money
