Dr. Azita A. Mansouri grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of Florida College of Dentistry. They have been married and working together since 2007.
Both doctors are dedicated to providing the most up-to-date procedures, and are committed to further their education by attending various advanced training courses in cosmetic dentistry and implants. They are members of various well-known, prestigious dental societies.
Their mission is to emphasize on preventive care and education to ensure a lifetime of healthy and beautiful smiles for all their patients. They hope for you to come relax at their office and enjoy your dental experience.
Dr. Bagheri received his DMD from Harvard University as a high ranking cum laude and served as class Marshall, and MD from Emory University, where he also completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery and internship in General surgery.
Dr. Bagheri is the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, and serves as a clinical faculty at both the Georgia Health Sciences University and Emory University, where he is involved in resident education.
Dr. Michael Mansouri was privileged to grow up around many dentists in his family. His love for dentistry grew stronger watching his uncle perform dental medicine in his office. This led him to his career path and in doing so he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2003. He has also completed a one year advanced training at Medical College of Georgia for Implant Dentistry.
He wants to provide the best care for his patients in the most comfortable and calming environment and so Dr. Mansouri pursued additional training and is licensed to perform Conscious Oral and IV Sedation, where he can provide pain-free and anxiety-free dentistry for all his patients.

I had 2 recent visits here in March and this past week. Dr. Patel was very helpful, kind, & explained what I needed very well when I had questions. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They assisted me with my insurance and appointments in a super friendly way. The office is very clean, neat, & inviting. I will definitely keep seeing Dr. Patel and recommend this clinic 100%. Looking forward to my next visit!

First time here. My dentist of 39 years retired. I have been in search of an honest dentist. I have been to 3 franchise dental offices. All 3 stated I needed deep cleaning ($300-700) and would not do standard cleaning paid for by my supplemental insurance. So I decided to search for dental care using my own money. I met Dr Patel. She was pleasant, honest and her assessment of my dental status was compatible with my previous dentist. Office staff were friendly. Love the office setting- very homey and calming. I would recommend her to anyone in search of a new dentist.

This place is amazing. They treat you like family. The front lady, i believe her name is Gina (sorry if i misspelled it) she attended me right away. no trouble at all, very polite women and super nice. service was A1 as well. They waste no time an get straight to work! overall, i would recommend this to anyone who's wanting to visit a dentist.

I enjoyed my visit and the staff at Southern Smiles. Everyone was amazing and so welcoming. Gina even helped me out with my toddler which made my visit a lot better, she is the best! The office decor is very modern and refreshing, the rooms are very comfy and clean. I will definitely return for another visit and would recommend anyone who is in search of a dentist to visit Southern Smiles Lawrenceville, 10 s for you guys!

I recently relocated back to Ga from out of state and the last dental experience I had was in 2019 before Covid. I am so grateful I did my research and found your dental office. The energy and environment was so clean and nice. I was grateful that the Doctor explained every thing and also educated me on things no dentist ever took the time to break down. This is the first time I have went to a dental office and not been afraid or nervous, because the environment was so pleasant. My teeth feel extremely clean and I am confident that I have the information I need to keep it that way! Thank you! Your team and staff are so pleasan!

Thank you for welcoming me as a new patient. I have to say excellent service made me feel comfortable. I went in worried and soon as I entered the room with the hygienist he looked in my mouth and told me exactly what was wrong. I feel so much better now. Just got my dental cleaning/checkup here after a few years of putting it to the side. The staff were very nice and caring. Their Covid response was great as they were all cleaning everything they and I came in contact with constantly throughout the time I was there. They gave great advice on continuing my dental health and it felt very genuine. Everyone should come here!
