Mansfield, Texas, is Dr. Woolseys hometown. Starting at Erma Nash Elementary and graduating from Legacy High School, Mansfield has laid the foundation for her future. After graduation, she and her high school sweetheart enrolled at Texas A&M University where she received a degree in biomedical sciences. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Woolsey married her husband, Tyler, and they moved to San Antonio where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Dental school fostered Dr. Woolseys love for life-long learning, and she became committed to providing the best possible care for her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. When she is not studying, Dr. Woolsey loves to spend time with her family and friends near the water, chasing their toddler at high school football games while her husband coaches, and cheering on her Aggie football team.
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from dentistry, effective June 26, 2020. Since I established my dental practice in Mansfield in 1983, it has been an honor to provide your dental care. Along the way, I was fortunate enough to establish personal relationships with many of you, which has been just as fulfilling as caring for your dental needs. Thanks for going on the ride with me as we watched our lives unfold. Your trust, kindness, and friendship have truly meant a lot to me. After thirty-seven years in dentistry, it is now time for me to start another chapter in my life. Patti and I plan to continue living in Mansfield and staying active in the community. With more free time, Im looking forward to more backpacking and camping adventures, as well as other travels.
Many of you have already met Dr. Seth Harris during the nine years that he and I have worked together. He has been a driving force in our office to keep advancing our technologies and the level of service which we provide to you, our patients. As the new owner of Mansfield Dental Associates, I have complete confidence that Dr. Harris will continue our tradition of excellence in dentistry and personalized care.
In addition, I am pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sarah Woolsey to our staff. A Mansfield native, she completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Dentistry in 2018. In addition to her outstanding credentials and skills, she brings the level of kindness and compassion that you have come to expect from Mansfield Dental Associates. Dr. Woolsey has already begun the process of meeting patients and integrating herself into our office.
Our outstanding staff of clinical assistants, dental hygienists, and business office personnel will continue to serve your needs, so you will still see the same familiar faces in our office. As I step away from dentistry, it is comforting to know that you will still be provided with the excellent dentistry, kindness, and compassion that you deserve.

Considering I had root canal, the experience went very good. I was nicely greeted coming in and there was almost zero waiting time before I went back to the room. Robin was very accommodating and professional getting me set up and comfortable. I have back and neck problems so we played the try this pillow game, so I was comfortable. Dr. Woolsey was just great. She explained every step as we went along, so I knew what was going on. I felt very little to no pain during the whole procedure, which is very important to me. No problems at all. As a young boy, I had a terrible experience with a dentist and I have not forgotten that day. He did not use any numbing medication at all. But, he was my mother's cousin and we had to use him. He took that "you're a tuff guy" approach. Overall, ya'll did good and I really appreciate it.

I have been using them for 15 plus years. My favorite dentist retired. But Dr. Harris is just as good. All of the Dental Assistants are awesome always friendly and professional. Even though I see the same one every time. This place has a family atmosphere and they are always ready to make your teeth shine.

Great dentists, hygienists, and support staff! I've been coming here for years because they are great. Dr. Woolsey even had a follow-up call the next day to check on me. They are wonderful, considerate, talented, and I highly recommend them. Just returned for cleaning and Samantha was terrific! Also had a couple of procedures where I was impressed with Robin, and as always Dr. Woolsey. They have remodeled and their waiting room where you usually spend very little time, because they are quick to get you in, looks great.
