He is grateful to have the skills to alleviate his patients fears and pain and restore them to health and happiness. He appreciates the opportunity he has to affect his patients lives in such a positive manner.

Dr. Borer grew up in Western New York State and graduated cum laude from Clarion University of Pennsylvania earning a Baccalaureate of Science degree in Biology. He went on to graduate school at the University of Florida, earning a Master of Science degree specializing in Environmental Engineering Sciences. Dr. Borers specialty training focused exclusively on non-surgical root canals, non-surgical re-treatments of previous root canals, root surgery (apicos), trauma, and management of medically compromised patients.

Dr. Borer is involved with Spear Education, the Daytona Beach Dental Study Club (the oldest study club in the country), Volusia Dental Academy, and is a part-time faculty member of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Endodontics. He is affiliated with many community associations, including the following:

Dr. Borer resides in Ormond Beach with his wife of 24 years, Kerry. They have two amazing children, Christian and Grace. When not at work, Dr. Borers hobbies are beekeeping, home brewing, and traveling. He has been a Reader of the Word at his parish for eight years and was a youth ministry leader for seven years. The family enjoys taking hiking trips, with their greatest achievement being the Camino De Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage from the French Pyrenees across northern Spain to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain.

The staff and Dr. Manne are very professional, understanding, and helpful. Having a root canal on top of a previous root canal, is most likely a rarity, but Dr. Manne left me in minimal pain (afterwards); two days later I had no pain. She talked her way through the procedure so that I could hear everything that she was doing, and she also communicated with the dental tech who was helping her; my point is that I enjoyed hearing her talk as it took my mind off what was actually happening. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness!

Wonderful doctor and staff!! Dr. Borer listened as I explained the issues that were causing my discomfort and he quickly isolated the root of the problem....pun intended. :) He showed empathy and expressed understanding. Dr. Borer and Austin both had a calm demeanor that helped the whole experience go smoothly. They communicated effectively on what should be expected and before I knew it, my root canal was complete! The staff was super friendly as well. I would highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Sidni Manne and her assistant Michelle were absolutely wonderful. This was my first time needing a root canal and they both took the time to explain everything to make sure I was aware of what was happening and what to expect. Dr. Manne was so gentle I almost fell asleep in the chair while she was doing the procedure. Highly highly recommend them!

Great results - I had a cracked tooth from biting into a small piece of metal that accidentally ended up in a bowl of rice. My normal dentist noticed the crack was getting worse over time so they put a crown on the tooth. The tooth got infected and my normal dentist referred me to endodontist in Port Orange. I went to the appointment and they told me the tooth needed to be pulled and they would have to put in an implant. I didn't feel great about this appointment so I got a second opinion at Manne and Borer. Dr Borer took a look at the tooth and said he has seen worse and that he thought he could save the tooth with a root canal. I was happy to hear this and immediately scheduled the procedure. 4 months later and the tooth feels great and the Xray shows the bone and gum are healing nicely. Thank you Dr Borer and team for putting patient quality of care over dollars.

I had pain in bottom tooth #18. Dr Manne was referred to me by a colleague at work. The pain was constant for several days...I called Dr Manne's office and they made an appointment for me to see the doctor 4 hrs later. Dr Manne identified the problem and he performed a root canal. He was extremely busy and he told me that I was in too much pain and that he would fit me in. Dr Manne spend over 90 minutes taking care of me. The service was excellent. Dr Manne explained everything he was doing. The staff was superb. I went home a bit soar but the pain faded away by the time I went to bed. Thank you Dr Manne and a huge thank you to Prof. C. J who referred me to you. Respectfully; Prof. Bada Dehili

I am a dentist, and I just had a root canal done by Dr. Borer. It was perfect. I have recommended Dr. Borer many, many times over the years to my patients. In addition, he has done two previous root canals for me. He has never disappointed me or my patients. That should be all you need to know, but if you want to know more, I'll divide my comments into two parts, the first for patients, and the rest for other dentists. For Patients: Dr. Borer is exceptionally gentle. Nobody likes shots, but WHEN THEY ARE WELL DONE (important point!), 99.873% of what you feel is not pain but, fear. Objectively, when you do them like Dr. Borer did for me, they are painless. Oh you feel a little something, but nothing to worry about. After that, the treatment goes really really fast with Dr. Borer, but not because anybody is rushing. It goes fast because he is just really skilled, has superb equipment and has a great team. Together, they are a well oiled machine. You will have a great result, and a great experience. And don't worry, he has a really clean modern office. No compromises. For Dentists: I really love watching people at the top of their game do their thing. Check out the image of my #18: note the graceful shaping of the canals, see how beautifully the sharp bend at the apical third of the distal root was shaped and filled, the perfect little puffs of sealer, and for extra points, look at the accessory canal exiting at a 90 degree angle almost to the furca, filled at least with sealer and topped with it's own little puff. Your opinion of cleaning and shaping might lean to a little more shape, or maybe less, but to me, that x-ray looks like perfection. That was all accomplished in about 30 minutes from when the rubber dam went on, including the final buildup and composite. Maybe 35 minutes. I didn't actually time him but I wish I did. He hardly had to talk with his assistant, who knew exactly what he needed next and had it ready. Anyone in private practice knows how long it takes to develop that level of teamwork. I'd encourage any dentist reading this to make sure you refer your patients to Dr. Borer. Sometimes, we need to refer our patients to specialists who have good technical skills, but who are poor at patient management. The treatment is well done, but patients return, unhappy with us for referring them to someone who doesn't treat them as well as you, their general dentist, does. You won't have that problem here!

Dr Borer solved a problem that others couldn't correct. Pain free after almost 2yrs. Best ever. Ability to listen to the problem and then correct was outstanding. The entire staff was terrific.

My daughter and I both recently had root canals performed at the Ormond Beach office. Dr. Manne took excellent care of both of us! I have a lot of dental anxiety and she and her staff put me completely at ease. Wonderful bedside manner and the office staff is equally wonderful. We won't go anywhere else!! Highly, highly recommend this practice if you need a dental procedure.
