Dr. Fred Mann graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, and completed his dental education at Creighton University, Omaha, NE in 1988; he then served as a dentist in the U.S. Army prior to moving to Sacramento in 1991.
Dr. Marcus Mann completed his undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University in 1983, and received his dental degree following graduation from Marquette University Milwaukee, WI in 1987. He started his career as an associate dentist in San Diego and Fremont, CA prior to moving to Sacramento to establish his dental office in 1990.
Ellen Mann started Dental Assisting originally in Oregon. After moving to California and getting married she helped start the family business in 1990 and has remained its bookkeeper. Her favorite challenge: being a wife and mother. On her off time you can find her exercising, knitting and cooking!
Vanessareceived her registered dental assistant degree in 2003. She has worked with patients and helped them to be comfortable, achieving her childhood goal of giving everyone a beautiful smile. She has been with Dr. Mann's office since 2009. In addition, she cycles, plays guitar and is a mother of two beautiful daughters.
I'm Sonia and I've been working in the dental field for more than 16 years. My specialty is children. Starting regular dental visits as early as three or four years old helps your children maintain good dental health throughout life. We're all committed to treating patients with impeccable care in a friendly environment.
Melissa started with Dr. Mann working in the front office and went on to college to obtain her dental hygiene license in 2001. She remains at the office and enjoys working in her chosen field as a dental hygienist. Melissa and her family enjoy doing outdoor activities.
Keri has worked at Dr. Mann's office since 1992 as a valuable assistant who manages to always make her patients feel comfortable while in her and the doctors care. During her time off she enjoys her family and friends.
Bita is one of the respected and well known dental hygienists in the Sacramento area. She received her Associate degree from Sacramento State before moving to New York to complete her education. She graduated from New York State University in 1995 and returned to California to pursue her career as a dental hygienist. For her hobbies, Bita loves to paint and do interior designs.
I'm Sherry, I've worked in the dental field since 1997. I joined Dr. Mann's front office staff in 2002. I strive to make sure patients have a pleasant dental experience. During my time off I love cheering for my teenagers in their sports activities, camping and spending time with family and friends.
I'm Susan and I have been working at Dr. Mann's office since 2007 and enjoy it here very much. When I'm not working I love spending time with my adorable, loving Jack Russell Terrier named Hannah in addition to hanging out with family and friends, planting flowers and watching football.
I'm Melinda and have been with Mann's Dental since 2009 as treatment coordinator. I enjoy being team mom for my son's high school football program and cooking for family and friends. I'm entertained by my two crazy cats Ninja and Max.
Vicky holds an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Sacramento City College. She enjoys working with patients, and her goal is to provide a friendly and relaxing environment while providing optimum oral health care. Outside of work Vicky enjoys traveling, reading, and scrapbooking.

Dr. Fred and Marcus are the best. I've been going here since I was 12yrs old. The most honest dentist in all of the valley.

My husband went for teeth cleaning he suffered for a week with damaged gums. Finally he had to go to emergency. The dentist said they cannot do anything when visited for review after a week. He told him to see another dentist. very poor service. please choose carefully.

Very poor service. Went for teeth cleaning. Finally after 2 days had to go to emergency hospital as pain has been unbearable. The doctor said that dentist has damaged all the gums on right side. I even called the emergency line 916 978 483 at 10 am today and they said doctor will call you. It is nearly 3pm and no one called back. I will never ever go to this place again.. My dentist, Dr. Marcus Mann, is the best dentist in the whole world. He has never hurt me, and he explains every procedure and is so gentle. His brother, Fred, is the same way. I would recommend either one of them to anybody! The staff is great, too!

The doctors are the best. Im over my fear of dentists now. Call them, you can ask about insurance. They arrange your treatment plan to get the most out of your insurance. No insurance?Then they accept care credit. Call them really. Don't wait until till it hurts.

Execellent experience at Mann & Mann. Explained to dentist about my reservations with needles and he talked me through the entire process, did not feel a thing! I have been back at least 5x over the past few years and have had a number of procedures done, tooth implant, standard cleaning, cavities, etc. Not stressful one bit. Very clean office and lobby, organized office area and staff.....telephone and email reminders when your appointments come up. Highly recommended.
