Manisha graduated from the University of Connecticut, School of DentalMedicine with a DMD in 2010. Prior to graduating from The University ofConnecticut, Manisha received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2000from Punjabi University, India. Thereafter, Dr. Bhalla completed oneyear of General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital,Queens in 2011. She is certified by NYS in Conscious enteral sedationthrough oral sedation and nitrous oxide which allows her to treat manyfearful and anxious patients. Manisha has an extensive experience inboth hospital and private setting. She has been in private practice as afamily dentist for four years in the Hudson Valley, working for aleading dental practice in Woodstock, NY where both children and adultpatients adored her. She shares a great relationship and rapport withmost of the area specialists. Manisha is passionate about crown andbridge, restorative dentistry, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry,Invisalign, smile designing and makeover and has been mentored byleaders in the field. Manisha has trained in cosmetic dentistry at the Rosenthal Institute Aesthetic Advantage Continuum. This training incosmetic dentistry is directed by Dr. Larry Rosenthal and is one of thebest programs in the US. Additionally, Manisha is certified in Dentalcare for the Developmentally Disabled program, from Stony BrookUniversity School of Dental Medicine and is a certified Invisalignprovider.
Manisha prides herself to base her philosophy on treating patients asshe would treat her own family and creating lasting relationships basedon trust. Her focus is on patient comfort and providing a greatexperience. She keeps up with latest technology and techniques andactively participates in continuing education to provide the latest andgreatest in dentistry to her patients. She is an active member ofInternational Congress of Implantologists.
In her free time, Manisha enjoys camping/ hiking, walking the railtrails, visiting local farms, artists, and antique shops, arts, andcrafts, reading, traveling, meeting new people and exploring newcultures and adventure sports.
A lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, Elaine has been practicing dental hygiene for over twenty years, the last eighteen within the practice. Elaine is a graduate of the dental hygiene program at Orange County Community College. In May 2006 she was recognized for the outstanding treatment she provides to her patients as one of six hygienists nationwide to win the Healthy Gums andHealthy Life Awardfrom the Butler Corporation. Along with Dr. Bhalla, Elaine shares an enthusiasm for continuing education, as evidenced by her recent certification to administer local anesthetic enabling her to provide an increased level of comfort. Elaine's gentle touch and caring approach make her patients' hygiene visits truly enjoyable.

After 40+ years with the same dentist, I had a lot of trepidations starting with someone new. I had a few meetings with hygienists at Dr. Bhalla's Poughkeepsie office in the last two years, but no real interaction with the dentist herself until I recently chipped the old bonding on my two front teeth. After examining them and viewing an x-ray, she concluded I needed crowns on both teeth. So the first experience with my new dentist was going to be major work on my two most visible teeth! There's no suspense since I gave her 5 stars -- Dr. Bhalla is everything I was hoping for: careful, meticulous, knowledgeable. The crowns turned out great and I'm extremely happy to have found a dentist I can rely on. The staff are also top notch.

I have been going to Dr Bhalla since she took over the practice. She is very skilled and looks at all options, all done with a comforting demeanor. All of the staff are welcoming and make for a pleasant experience at the dentist. Let's face it, who likes going to the dentist? Updated 2 years later and still 5 stars. All of the above is still true. Today Carmen and Dr Bhalla went above and beyond to fit me into their very busy schedule for restorative work to be done in time for an upcoming wedding. Thank you, thank you, thank you....

Completed a thorough and much needed cleaning, plus A LOT of x-rays in an hour. My hygienist was very communicative throughout and Dr. Bhalla did not keep me waiting once it was time for her. Happy to go there again!

Best dentist ever! I went in for a regular cleaning and discovered that I needed a root canal! The last time I needed one it was before Dr Bhalla was practicing here so I had to go to another dentist for the procedure. Although not a bad experience the first time, it was still an ordeal. This time, although it was a long appointment, I experienced no pain as she did the root canal and then did another crown along with an assistant who was also awesome. I'm very glad that I'm in her care.

Excellent dentist (I've been to many,) Dentistry is part technology, part artistry. This place has both. Hi tech 3d imaging,dental cameras , and of course good old x-ray. Combined with artistic hands, my dentist has made my smile look soooo much better, and I thank them.

I have had wonderful experiences at Dr. Bhalla's dental office. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and amazing co-vid protocol by Deidre. Everyone I have met there is incredibly knowledgeable and nice. Highly recommend!!

Dr Bhalla office is great! From Deidre's friendly voice at the front desk, Elaine, Lisa or Lenka expert cleanings, with Janise assisting Dr Bhalla, her work, doing fillings, crowns etc. Is done with care and experience.I have been a patient for years, and travel a hour to come to her.I would highly recommend the office to anyone

My experience at this practice has been fantastic. Dr. Bhalla is amazing! She is very knowledgeable, caring, gentle, patient and attentive. I completely trust her with all my dental needs. I originally landed in her office because I had a tooth emergency that couldn't wait. I'm so happy I found her as not only did she correct the problem but everything healed beautifully. Since then I've continued to go back for extensive work and I'm extremely pleased with everything. I'd also like to commend the office for adhering to necessary precautions during Covid to provide a clean and safer environment for everyone. As well the entire staff are all excellent at what they do, friendly and helpful. Thank you Dr. Bhalla, Deidra, Jennis, Lisa and Lenka! You ladies rock!

Lenka is the best dental hygienist I have ever had the pleasure of going to. She has changed my utter terror of anything dental to an appointment of stress (lower "s") of the normal variety. The entire office is calm and efficient. Plus their vigilance about safe practices During the time of Covid put my mind at ease. Now I can enjoy my clean sparkling teeth.
